Two days later

Heavenly Brooks walks down the big hallway carrying her books. The classes were just over and she was looking forward to grabbing coffee so much that she was even prepared to go alone. There was this good new place near the campus that she discovered a while ago.

"Heaven! " A girl's voice called out to her right in the middle of her thoughts. It was Aliyah who had been running to catch up with her.

"Hey, Ally. Where were you in the last class? "Heaven questioned.

Aliyah Forger was her best friend ever since the second year of high-school, which she enrolled at in Atlantic City. The girl was the first to introduce herself to her and ask her to join her group for lunch, and then the girls just it hit off. The friendship got to a point where they would tell each other everything and there would rarely be a day when they weren't together. That's how Aliyah got to hear the story about Jordan as well, but also other things from before they met. When the senior year came, the girls just naturally picked the same college that interested both, so that they would not have to separate, and decided that they'd live together in Philadelphia.

"Sorry, that idiot Hyun just forgot his bag in A16, so he had me go and get it for him, and then... well, I just didn't feel like going back to class after smelling coffee at the place where he waited. " Aliyah excused herself.

"You are so irresponsible, gosh. " Heavenly scolded her friend. "I'll let you copy my notes. "

"Thanks. " Ally said as they both walked through the big gate and exited the building. "Hey, you still haven't told me about Mr. Kissing-At-The-Doorstep! "

Heavenly was surprised that Aliyah knew, since they didn't really get the chance to see each other because she fell asleep before Aliyah came that night and then got up early in the morning to go to class. They missed each other for a day and a half.

"You mean Maxx? How do you know about him? "

"I have my sources. " Her friend chuckled.

Heavenly looked at her and pressed her lips in a thin line. "Is it Jordan? "

Aliyah looked around the park, trying not to meet Heaven's eyes. "Maybe, maybe not. "

"So it was him. "

"Who cares? I hear that it was really amazing! Tell me everything. "

"Do you want the whole story, or without the Jordan walking in naked part? " Heaven asked as they entered the coffee place she wanted to go to since before she met Ally. They made themselves comfortable on the chairs and took out the card of drinks.

"I pretty much know the part with him. 'I was just going to take a shower and eat some ice cream and then some other guy is sitting on the couch when I walk in and she yells at me. That woman!'" Aliyah caricatured the scene in the car after Jordan picked her up and laughed. "Man, he was frustrated. "

"I was too. " Heavenly sighed. "But everything turned out okay, I guess. So, here are the details.. "

Heaven began telling her friend about how Maxx Reed had come over for the assignment and they drank coffee and worked on it and he showed to be pretty smart and creative. After that, they just listened to some pop songs on Youtxbe and had a casual conversation, where he kind of seemed to want to get close. He put his arm behind her one time while sitting on the couch and looked at her really long. He was unlucky that Heavenly needed to pick up some courage for a while and then finally be able to accept his kiss at the doorstep.

"Wow. You guys are cute. " Aliyah exclaimed excitedly. "And he seems nicer than Can't-keep-the-pants-on-Danny. "

Aliyah was referring to Heavenly's ex boyfriend from the third year of high-school, Daniel. They had been dating for about eight months before breaking up. Heavenly broke up with him after finding out that he had a habit of flirting at clubs all the time and seducing other girls casually, and right after she had lost her virginity to him. She laughed out loud, for how hurt she was then, and how uncaring she is now towards that whole situation. "Yeah. "
