9. The Day He Swallowed His Feelings

October 31st, Halloween

"Are we all set?" Michael Gray, a guy from Jordan's class, asked everyone gathered up in his dorm room.

There came a total number of about ten people, squished in this small space. Baek-Hyun and Aliyah by the window, Jordan next to Michael whom they called Mike, by the door, Heavenly and Maxx sitting on Mike's bed, Elianna and Thalia from the previous party next to them, Mike's roommate, Evan, his girlfriend Lenora and another two guys from classes, Dylan and Shane.

"Yeah! We can go, finally. " Hyun said in all his annoyance that some people were late. They were supposed to arrive at the party at nine, but it's nine fifty right now.

They all wore spooky costumes that go with the holiday's spirit. Heavenly went as Marilyn Monroe, with a blonde wig and red lipstick and dress. She felt pretty good about herself, and Maxx obviously liked the way she looked. Aliyah praised her too. It was enough for Heavenly. Mentioning Aliyah, she made a deal with Heav that they would somehow match, so she did an impression of Jane Russel, once Heavenly mentioned being Marilyn. Ally curled her dark hair and made it shorter than usual, and wore a shining black dress, along with red lipstick. Two of them were absolutely stunning and resembled the two icons very much.

Jordan on the other hand decided on being Tormund Giantsbane from Game of thrones. His hair did a good job resembling the character's, so he only bought fake ginger beard and armor. Baek-Hyun hates thinking too much about costumes, so he just used the privilege of his Asian face and wore a black suit, going as Hwang Jun-ho, or number twenty-nine, from 'Squid game'. Aliyah put some makeup on him, creating eyebags that Jun-ho has in the series. He protested long and hard against it, but she made him sit and did the makeup for him. In the end he thought it was good.

"Finally, we're here!" Heavenly exclaimed loudly as they passed the entrance to the club. It's a place close to the campus and about a six-seven minutes drive to the crew's apartment. They threw a Halloween party with an all inclusive price, and it sounded really good, so many people from their college decided to attend. It seemed like a good opportunity to bond.

"Who wants some mojito?" Ally questioned, clapping hands as they all made their stand around three round tables they reserved.

Hyun and Jordan raised their hand.

"I think I'll go with a Sex on the beach. " Heavenly stated.

"Wait, can we even ask for alcohol? We are all eighteen, to nineteen years old. " Hyun questioned.

Evan and Lenora grinned and raised their hands, followed by Evan's words. "I'm twenty one and she's twenty two. We'll get you anything, if they bother you for your age. "

Shane butted in as well. "I'm twenty one too. "

"Our saviors. " Ally clapped her hands. "Alright then. Wait, is Kameron coming? He could help with the minors drinking alcohol problem as well. " she turned to Jordan.

The guy shrugged. "I invited him. He should be here. Although he said that he needed to finish some homework first. "

Aliyah seemed hopeful for it. Baek-Hyun nudged her in the shoulder. "Look at her wanting to get drunk with Kameron. Be careful that something more than alcohol doesn't end up in your tummy tonight. "

Her mouth dropped and she nudged him back. Jordan made a sour face. "Dude, no."

They all made proposals for their drinks to Shane, Evan and Lenora and the three musketeers went to get them what they wanted. The place was already crowded and there were many people with great costumes. It radiated with life. Jordan looked around thinking the place is nice, and somewhere at the end of his gaze stood Heavenly and Maxx talking quietly to each other and giggling like crazy.
