Heavenly couldn't come to terms with herself that whole evening. She just stayed in her room and thought of Jordan. She admitted that her heart might have wavered but to admit that she actually had feelings for Jordan, that was too much to her. So the only solution she had was to remind herself of how well Maxx treats her. Maxx.. She couldn't talk with him at all so she left him hanging all night until tomorrow.

Tomorrow, Aliyah invited Baek-Hyun and Jordan to join her and Heavenly for lunch, not knowing anything about Heavenly and Jordan's relationship.

"I invited the guys for lunch. They'll be ordering food. Do you want anything? " she asked Heavenly.

Heavenly's eyes widened. "You invited them here?!"

Aliyah was surprised with her friend's reaction, considering it wasn't at all unusual for the boys to eat at their place. "Well, yeah. Was I not supposed to?"

She kept quiet and got up. "I need some fresh air. "

Just as she was at the door, it abruptly opened, revealing Baek-Hyun and Jordan. Jordan was a bit skeptical about seeing Heavenly too, confused with his dream about her and all that happened on the night of the party, even Maxx telling him to stay away. Baek-Hyun was the one who made him come.

As Heavenly's and Jordan's eyes met, both their hearts felt heavy. Heavenly quickly regained her usual quirkiness and smiled to welcome them in. "Oh, you're already here.. "

"Aliyah said two but we were hungry, " Baek-Hyun raises two bags with ordered food. "We got you a salad with chicken. Hope that's fine? "

Heavenly nods and steps aside. "It's fine. Come in. "

Jordan Parker measures his childhood friend's face. Is she upset with him for some reason?

"Yo, everyone. " he greets both the girls and stays by Heavenly as Baek-Hyun passes by. "Heavenly, um.. " he tries to initiate the conversation about last night. "Can we t- "

Heavenly cuts him off with a question. "How are you today? I heard you were in a pinch yesterday, with how much alcohol you drank. "

She wanted to avoid talks about the party at all costs and just focus on how he is now.

"I'm good as new," he tells her. "Although yesterday was a bit tough. Baek made me a porridge that brought me back to life. "

Heavenly and Baek-Hyun exchanged a discreet gaze and he nodded, confirming that he kept his word. Heavenly turns towards Jordan.

"I told you you shouldn't drink anymore that time you came to the kitchen but you just didn't listen. Luckily, Baek-Hyun's got good cooking skills. We should sit down now and eat if you're both hungry, " Heavenly walks away and towards the kitchen table, leaving him at the front door and reminding him of his dream where she left him alone in that room.

Jordan shook the thought out of his head and sat at the dining table, opening the bags and taking out food boxes one by one, sorting them. Heavenly brings the dishes to the table. They work in peace and quiet. Meanwhile, Aliyah and Baek-Hyun engage in their own conversation.

"Are you going home anytime soon, Baek-Hyun? "

"I visited my folks for Christmas, so I won't be going for a while now. What about you? " his gaze pierced her.

Ever since that New Year's kiss, Aliyah couldn't look at her friend the same way. She kept rewinding the night over and over again, not regretfully, but on the contrary, to find bliss in that memory. Suddenly, she started watching Baek-Hyun's every move and couldn't get enough of him. She wondered if she was going crazy and if the guy was that good of a kisser.
