Tomorrow
Jordan wasted no time dialing his parents and telling them the news about his Christmas celebration. He mentioned that he'd visit a few days after but at the moment, he needs to study quite hard so it would be best to be alone. His mom was a little sceptic but she couldn't tell her grown up son what to do anymore.
So right now, after saying bye to Baek-Hyun, Joe and Heaven dressed up and went for their Christmas shopping. Neither of them planned to spend the night there so their fridges were practically empty. Some stores near their place were closed for the Holidays so they had to go and search further. They found a nice one and went inside to look for food and drinks.
"Do you want to make pizza tonight?" Heavenly questioned while checking out pizza crusts and ketchup across from them. "Or maybe pancakes?"
Joe sighed, tired of going around because of her indecisiveness.
"I don't mind anything, really. Pizza is fine. Let's just get this done with. I'm getting cold." he complained while pushing the large metal cart.
Heavenly placed ingredients for pizza in the cart and glanced at his face. It was somewhat pinkish. His nose seemed to have freezed outside in the sipping snow. She giggled. He was cute wrapped in his cap and a scarf.
"You're such a big baby."
He growled quietly at her comment and continued to look around. While they were walking, he noticed some chocolate cookies that Heavenly adored and grabbed them off the shelf.
"Do you want these?" he asked.
Heaven nodded, her eyes sparkled instantly as she got all excited for the sweets. Jordan chuckled and threw them in. At that moment, Heaven accidentally crashed her left foot against the cart and almost fell, but he held her by the forearm. She let out a small sigh, surprised.
Jordan looked at her face and straightened her up. "Be careful, idiot."
She felt a rush to her face, feeling a bit embarrassed to be saved by him because she stared at candy longer than she was supposed to. They continued to walk and search for different stuff. They bought some beers and juice, as well as food for Christmas day too. Once they were done, they came out with more bags than they wished.
Joe groaned, dropping the four bags he carried to the back seat of his car. "You put the whole store in that cart. You're unbelievable."
Heavenly made herself comfortable on the passenger's seat and let out a breath of visible air. Jordan hopped to the driver's.
"Well, we need to be secure. It's not like we can go shopping tomorrow."
The guy with chestnut hair and eyes drove out of the parking lot, looking at the road focused. "Don't worry. With this much, we don't have to go shopping for a whole month."
She laughed quietly and gave herself to the song on the radio. It was around one afternoon already. Jordan was right. Outside is really cold today. Her hands started to shiver, not having any gloves.
She stared out the window, trying to stop shivering.
"I told you to put more layers on but you would not listen." Joe made a comment when noticing her body language.
