Aliyah slowly reacted to the light of day and horrible pounding somewhere far away. As she kept coming to her consciousness bit by bit, the pounding got closer and louder. The girl groaned as it kept on disturbing her sleep. Baek-Hyun heard the same noise inside his wandering mind and came to consciousness as well. When the two friends opened their eyes, it first took a few seconds trying to get them used to daylight. Once they somehow comprehended the stimulus, two of them took a small glance at each other, becoming aware of each other's presence.
"Mo-rwning." He spoke through his yawn.
Aliyah tried to move her hand that felt numb from between them, sending tingling feels up to the shoulder. She made an unpleasant face.
"Ugh. Morn- whoa!" her sentence was cut off by a loud fall to the floor. She hit her butt hard and kept lying on the carpet.
Once she looked up, there was a large head peeking from above the bed egde. "Careful! Are you okay?" Hyun questioned.
Ally nodded and sat up. "My butt will punish me for this."
The pounding kept coming. They both rationalized it inside of their minds and concluded that someone was knocking at the door. The guy sat up and massaged his forehead.
"Who could it be?" Hyun moaned.
Aliyah stood up slowly and began walking out of the room and up to the door. Her hair was all messy and the sleeves of pajama a bit bigger. She reached for the door. "Jordan. If it's you, I swear that I'll kill you for waking me up randomly like this." she said and opened the door.
The person behind was not of this place. They held a very confused expression, confused and somehow mad. It was a Korean girl a bit taller than Aliyah with blazing black eyes and hair length to her chest, dressed in a white coat. She then opened her mouth in surprise.
"Hi? Can I help you?" Aliyah asked.
"Who are you?" the girl said, with a disgusted undertone to her vibrant voice.
"Aliyah Forger." Ally said, still not getting the situation. "Hyun, is she your guest?" the girl turned to the householder and their eyes met. He had just walked out of his bedroom where they slept.
The young Korean guy glanced at the door and had a sight to see. It was Hana. His girlfriend from New York was surprisingly right on his doorstep. He had no idea that she was coming.
The guy jumped to his feet and rushed to the door. "Hana!" he looked confused. "What a surprise. I didn't expect you here. What's going on?"
"You tell me." the girl said and glanced between the two friends wearing night clothes. "What is this? Who is she? What are you doing, Baek-Hyun?" Hana's voice got more impatient.
"This is Aliyah." he said, standing next to the subject of his talk. "A friend that lives next door."
"So, if she lives next door, what is she doing in your apartment?" Hana now stepped in and glanced around. "And there's no one else here! Your roomate is not here. What is this? What the hell?" she kept swearing.
"Calm down." he grabbed her shoulders. Aliyah felt a bit awkward and stepped back. "It means nothing."
"Oh really?" she pushed his hands away. "You're both wearing pajamas with messed up hair and half asleep faces. She slept over here, didn't she?" the girl gasped.
"Hana." he called her name, trying to reason with her. The girl shamelessly walked in and took a glance around the living room. Hana walked into Hyun's bedroom only to find the bed in a complete mess and other things scattered around, like socks and slippers.
