After Jordan and Heavenly came back from their weekend leave, they were both pretty surprised to hear Hyun's breakup story and about Aliyah's rejection from Kameron. It never once occurred in their minds that Hyun's girl could be jealous of Aliyah and Baek-Hyun. Two of them were so goofy with each other all the time, and annoyed one another to the limit. Also, Kameron didn't seem like a guy to just kiss and go. It was all very shocking. Jordan had to give his brother a call after he heard about it, just to question his state of mind. It turned out that Kameron Parker and Chloe Thompson had made up two days before, and he was at her apartment at the time. Joe was relieved, since Chloe was a good match for him, but also for Aliyah, because he honestly didn't think that he'd be able to open up so quickly, and thought how it was better to be heartbroken a little then, when it was just a silly crush, than later if it, in hypothesis, became something more serious.

Although, something between Ally and Hyun did change then, after those two heartbreaking events. They somehow connected and began spending more time together, and not only that, but you could actually see them being nice to each other sometimes, which was earlier an unimaginable scene. He made her study and she made him go out for some fun, and that's how they held on to each other and healed pretty quickly. Well, Ally at least, but Baek-Hyun was sometimes still shaken from his breakup with Hana. They were together and much longer than Ally and Kameron had even known each other. It had to be hard to get over.

On the other hand, the primary two, Joe and Heaven, got along quite well. Jordan somehow learned to swim through his unrequited love and had a pleasant relationship with Heaven. He could never again sleep in the same bed with her, nor walk around her apartment in underpants, but at least they could maintain the closeness of joking around and hanging out together, daily.

Exams passed. Everyone did well, Hyun and Heavenly better than others, but Aliyah and Jordan weren't bad either. Solid is the right word. Winter entered their lives coloring them with cold December nights. It was around Christmas now, twenty third of December.

Heavenly was making dinner at the boys' place and the guys made themselves comfortable watching some ice hockey match on TV. Aliyah has gone home for the Holidays. Baek-Hyun and Jordan are leaving tomorrow morning as well to pay their families a visit, and as for herself, she made a deal with Max that they'd spend this Christmas Eve together at his home, having dinner and watching a movie or just hanging out together. She was really looking forward to it. Heavenly told her mom to go to grandma and grandpa's for this Holiday, since they weren't gonna celebrate together.

"Hey Heaven. Could you pass a beer, please?" Jordan asked, referring to one of the beers from the fridge, not taking his eyes off of the screen.

She glared at him sideways, while slowly turning her spoon around the sauce she was making for spaghetti. "Do I look like a servant to you?"

He quickly glanced at her red apron and messy bun and then returned to watching the game. "Yea."

Her mouth dropped. "Well, then pay for my services, you asshole."

"I did pay for the ingredients of the meal you're gonna eat too."

She shook her head but opened the fridge and took a beer out anyway. "This is overtime work, you know." she walked over to the couch.

"That apron fits you well." he commented once she came to him and gave him the can of beer. "Maybe you should give up college and become a housewife instead. Mr Boyfriend would like that, I bet."

His childhood friend smacked his head, making that unruly hair shake and fall across his eyes. He chuckled, amused by his own joke and her reaction to it.

"Maybe you should drop out of college and start growing vegetables out of town. Then you might be useful for this community, instead of bossing around and doing nothing all day." Heaven returned to her previous spot by the stove.
