NO ONE'S POV
Two days later, the crew came back to Philadelphia from their school trip. Anticipation was constantly hanging in the air. Baek-Hyun and Jordan lounged lazily in their apartment, idly watching TV and contemplating their next move. Suddenly, Aliyah's voice rang from the open window which they couldn't help but hear.
"Hey, welcome back! Come in, come in!" Aliyah's voice echoed through the shared space as she ushered Heavenly into their apartment.
Baek and Jordan exchanged a look, their curiosity piqued. Without a second thought, they scuttled closer to the door, ears straining to catch snippets of the conversation.
"Dammit, we can't hear anything," Jordan muttered, trying to lean in a bit closer.
"We need to know what's going on," Baek added, equally keen on eavesdropping.
As the girls disappeared inside, Jordan whipped around, eyes alight with mischief. "We have to come up with a plan. Let's go offer them something to eat or drink, act casual, and then maybe they'll tell us about it. "
Baek's eyebrows shot up in amusement. "Alright, what do we have? "
He is having so much fun seeing Jordan in this not so casual state, all emotional about Heavenly's arrival.
Jordan darted to the fridge, rummaging through the contents. "Muffins! They might be old, but they're still edible!"
Baek chuckled. "Are you sure you want your first encounter with Heavenly to be you offering her moldy food? Is that your way of making up? "
Jordan's excitement lowers a bit but his resolve remains. After throwing a killer glance at Baek he tells him to shut up and proceeds towards the front door.
With the slightly aged muffins in hand, the guys marched over to the girls' apartment. Aliyah answered the door, an eyebrow raised at the sight of the muffins.
"Hey, we brought muffins, " Jordan announced cheerfully, offering them to Aliyah.
Aliyah glanced down at the muffins, then back up at the guys with a bemused expression. "Um, thanks? But aren't those the ones from six days ago that Heavenly made for us all? Don't you think they're a little past their prime? "
Jordan, undeterred, breezed past her, strolling into the apartment. "No worries, they're still good!" He set the muffins down on the kitchen counter, pretending they were the freshest baked goods in town.
Baek-Hyun, following suit, added with a grin, "Yeah, we're just here to hang out. "
Aliyah shrugged, giving in to the oddness of the situation. "Sure, make yourselves at home."
As the guys settled in, Jordan couldn't sit still, his nerves getting the better of him. He kept pacing back and forth, unable to shake off the anticipation.
Finally, Aliyah gestured toward the seating area. "You guys can take a seat, make yourselves comfortable."
But Jordan was too jittery to sit down. He glanced around the room, looking for Heavenly. Aliyah intercepted his search.
"Heavenly's in the bathroom; she'll be out in a bit."
Jordan's restlessness heightened, his eyes darting toward the bathroom door, awaiting Heavenly's arrival. The air felt charged. Jordan's heart pounded with a mix of excitement and nerves as Heavenly emerged from the bathroom, her smile almost a facade, hiding an unspoken tension. Their eyes met, and for a moment, everything around them seemed to fade into the background. After all this time, all the hurtful words, jealousy break-outs, plot twists, madness and sadness, all the silence between them for the past few days, they finally get to meet each other. It was a moment that made them both weak in the knees.
