Chapter 49

         I sit down on the sofa, staring blankly at the wall.

I don't understand what's going on now. 

No matter how much I try to think, I just can't get the answer. 

I really wish someone could tell me something. 

Taehyung... Can he tell me? 

I turn my head at my side. I see my phone and take it in my hand. 

I am startled when suddenly the front door open, revealing Jungkook.

He's holding some plastics in his hands. 

"You come back so fast" says me. 

"I should. I didn't expect you to wake up early. I just can't let you and my baby hungry, you know" says him and he's heading to the kitchen.

I lower my head for a moment. I'm not hungry, I just need space now. 

"Babe, let's eat".

I lift my head and see Jungkook has already served the food on the table.

My eyes shift on his face. I hate him but I should avoid unnecessary fights with him. My mind is so tired from figuring the hell in my life. 

I get up and walk to the dining table.

He pulls the chair for me and I sit down.

It is just a noodle soup but the smell makes my mouth water.

I realise that I'm actually hungry. And it's been too long since the last time I ate street food.

I take the chopsticks, dig and I slurp it up. 

After almost finishing the half bowl, I lift my head back to Jungkook.

Like always, he's been staring at me.  

I ignore him and look back into my bowl.

"Babe, wait" he stops me.

I freeze and I look at him again.

He takes the chopsticks from my hand, picks up a strand of noodle, and puts it in my mouth.

I watch him with a serious face. He's acting weird again.

He puts away the chopsticks, lowers his head to me, he puts the other end of the noodle into his mouth.

My forehead frowns into three lines. 

"Let's play this couple game, babe" says him, looking at my lips as he's waiting for me to move forward to him.  

He looks excited and I'm scared to refuse him.

Thinking again, I'm nervous for nothing. It's just a game that makes us kiss in the end. We always kiss, what is the fuss for? The fuss will hurt me. 

My eyes lower to look at the noodle in my mouth.

I move my lips forward slowly.

I don't look at him. I just look at my own lips until I can see his lips near to me.  

I pause, I don't know what to do.  

He doesn't want to wait and just comes forward for my lips, he kisses me briefly.

He pulls out the kiss, looking at me with a bright smile. 

"Mmm, so delicious babe to eat like this. We should always do this".

I'm quiet. I don't know why he is suddenly in a good mood. 

We just fought last night, I don't understand why he is in a good mood.
