Paging Dr. Deku

66: Victim

"You're coming back from the market right after, right?" 

"Yes, Kacchan, I already told you I would be back as soon as I got everything I needed, so stop worrying." 

"But I could've gone with you, and what if something happens to you and I'm not there." 

"Relax, Kacchan, I have a taser and pepper spray in case something happens, I'll be fine. I'm just going to the market to get a few things for dinner and I'll be back as soon as I get everything. The only reason you need to stay at home is in case someone recognizes you since there's still a lot of people out this hour. I'll send you a text when I'm on my way back, okay?" 

"Erm- fine, but you better hurry up or I'll start looking for you." 

"Okay~" 

'Hmph, such a worrywart all the time. It's been almost a month since that incident with Shindo, and I highly doubt something like that could happen this time. Let's just get everything we need at the market and then go back home so Kacchan can stop worrying.' she thought as she picked up the pace.

As she was walking in the direction towards the market, she glanced over to see the restaurant where she would usually meet up with all the girls in her high school class. 

'It's been a little bit since we last had a little get together, but it's not like it would be a good idea for me to show up since it'll only cause tension between me and Urara- huh?' 

When she glanced at the restaurant again, she stopped in her tracks and batted her eyes to see that the girls of her high school class were gathered together and seemed to surround Uraraka who was crying. 

'Hm? Am I seeing things? They... They're all together and didn't invite me? But why is Uraraka crying this time? Maybe I should try and take a listen.' she thought as she walked towards the place and made sure to stay a distance from the group of girls and seemed to have started to listen just at the right time.

"It was awful! Just the other night, I wanted to try and talk to Katsuki-kun about everything and he even let me in his place which meant he trusts me. But just before I was about to try and talk to Katsuki-kun, Deku-chan busts into Katsuki-kun's place and started confronting me about me stealing Katsuki-kun from her. And when I tried to explain that I just wanted to talk to him, Deku-chan grabbed me by my hair and dragged me out into the hallway and tossed me out like I was trash! She told me I wasn't allowed to see or talk to Katsuki-kun without her permission ever again, it was all just so cruel! And when me and Tsu were having lunch, Deku-chan showed up and acted like everything that happened the other night didn't happen and even bragged that she was having lunch with Katsuki-kun." Uraraka explained, wiping her tears. 

'What? What kind of story is this? She's not even gonna attempt at using the story she tried on me from that night?' Izuku thought.

"I can't believe she would steal Katsuki-kun from me when I've been trying to get back together with him for a while. She just waited for the right opportunity for me and Katsuki-kun to be on a break and has been trying to get the attention from everybody now. She and Shindo were doing so well together, and then she decided to cheat on Shindo and go for Reed, and then went after Katsuki-kun when she heard me and him were taking a break. She's so cruel to me~." the brunette cried. 

'Is she trying to make me sound like the bad guy when she was the one who paid Shindo to date me and then try to rape me? I knew she liked twisting a story, but this is ridiculous.'

"I didn't think Midoriya would be so mean." 

"Yeah, do you think that's the reason she retired from being a hero?"
