As he finished chugging a bottle of water down, Katsuki panted after finally realizing that Izuku was going to really be staying at his place for the next few days.
'How the hell am I gonna do this? Why did I somehow agree to letting Deku stay here, me of all people!?!?! I literally just confessed when I knew it was a bad idea, but what was I supposed to do? I didn't think things would end up like this and now I'm gonna have to act like nothing happened tonight about the confession! How the hell am I gonna pull this off?' he thought.
"Kacchan."
The blond jerked his head around and felt his heart beating out of his chest the second he saw the greenette walking out of his room–fully dressed–standing there with a towel in her hands and having to adjust her glasses on her face.
"I-I'm done if you n-need to take a s-shower." she mumbled.
"Ah- r-right. I-I'll take a shower then, y-you can eat anything in the fridge if you're hungry." he stated as he walked towards her.
"O-Oh, o-okay." she mumbled as she felt his presence walk past him and she felt her heart racing.
'Why do I feel like this right now? I shouldn't be feeling like this!' she thought, but suddenly felt her stomach growling.
'I didn't think I'd be that hungry, but then again I haven't eaten anything in a while. What does Kacchan have?'
Katsuki stared at himself in the mirror and honestly wanted to be staring at Kei for help.
'Why can't you just show up and help me out right now? I don't know what I'm supposed to do in this situation, you're better at this Kei.' he thought while staring at himself.
But soon he stopped staring at himself as he thought he smelled something coming from his kitchen.
'What the- that smells good, what is it?' he thought as he quickly dried himself off and changed into some clean clothes and walked out of his bedroom.
He walked into the living room and looked to see the greenette had her back facing him as she stood in the kitchen.
"Smells good, what're you making?" he asked. He watched as she whirled herself around to face him and smiled sweetly at him.
"Ramen, did you want some? I can make it spicy if you'd like?" she answered.
"Ah- sure."
He sat down on the couch as he heard things happening in the kitchen behind him, but he wasn't going to look and make the greenette feel uncomfortable with his stare. Soon he heard footsteps and looked up to see Izuku walking over to the couch and carrying two bowls and handed one of them to him.
"Careful, it's pretty hot."
"Thanks." he answered as he grabbed the bowl from her and was a bit thrown off by how close she sat next to him.
'Why does this feel weird? I thought she'd distance herself from me, but now she's sitting right next to me as if my confession didn't happen.' he thought as he looked in the corner of his eye at her.
"Hurry and eat before it gets cold." she said as she started eating.
As they ate in silence, Izuku glanced over to see the bruises and how swollen the blond's knuckles were and how busted and practically obliterated his cast was.
"That must hurt a lot, doesn't it?" she asked. He looked down at his hands and then back up at her.
"I've been through worse." he answered.
