Paging Dr. Deku

7: Encounter

"Oh, I didn't know you had a patient, Takashi." 

Katsuki stopped talking and immediately jerked his head to see a very familiar greenette standing at the door. 

'De... Deku?'

Katsuki was in awe as he stared at the greenette, as it seemed she looked 10 times more beautiful than when she did in high school. 

With her long and slightly curly Dark Green hair, wearing a White lab coat and glasses on her face covering her beady Emerald Green eyes and her classic freckles on her blushed cheeks made the blond's heart start to race. 

"Ah- Izuku, do you need something?" Takashi asked. 

"S-Sorry, y-yes, Violet-senpai asked me to give you these files since she had to go to a meeting." Izuku said, walking past Katsuki and handing Takashi the small stack of files. 

"Oh, thank you. And we'll be having a meeting later today as well." Takashi said. 

"Mn. Then I'm gonna go back and see if there's any new patients that need to be treated. Excuse me." Izuku said as she made a slight bow and quickly walked past Katsuki and was out of the office.

Takashi noticed how Katsuki had beamed his eyes at the greenette the entire time and a hue of pink tinted his cheeks. 

"I see you've moved on from Uraraka already, is that it?" Takashi asked. 

"What? No! I... I like being single, no one's on my back bothering me about shit." Katsuki scoffed, averting his eyes from the doctor. 

"If I'm not mistaken, Izuku and her boyfriend just broke up too, and it was just recently." Takashi said, while looking through the files he was just given. 

"What?" 

"I'm sure if you tried to have a normal conversation with her, she wouldn't mind." Takashi suggested, as he glanced up at the blond. 

"Tch- I don't need to talk to her, it's not like we're best friends or anything." 

"But you were at one point, weren't you?" Takashi asked. 

"Yeah, but not anymore." 

"And why is that? Is it because she only saw you as competition to become the best hero? In case you forgot, Katsuki, Izuku retired from hero work 2 years ago and became a doctor right away. It's clear to see that she's not aiming at being a hero in the light anymore. Stop looking at the past and at least try to strike up a conversation with her, I'm sure it'll make her feel better judging from her recent breakup." Takashi encouraged. 

"Tch-"

As she sat at her desk trying to read through some documents, Izuku suddenly dropped her head onto her desk and her cheeks turned Red. 

'Holy Woah, I've seen him in magazines, billboards and even on TV, but Kacchan's... why does he look way hotter in person?!?!? And the way he was looking at me when I was in Takashi's office, it was like... like he was staring me down and trying to make sure I didn't make a mistake! But I saw it, I saw the blush on his cheeks the moment he laid eyes on mine! He's never made that face before, not at me at least! Wait- why is my heart racing at just thinking about it? No! I have a date with Reed tomorrow, I shouldn't be thinking about Kacchan when he's dating Uraraka!'

( Yeah~ Izuku doesn't know that Katsuki broke up with Uraraka, but she will soon! Moving on! )

"Aw~ Looks like someone has a headache, huh?"
