"I guess I should thank you for helping me feel better." Izuku noted as they were walking back home.
"Nah, you don't need to thank me, I just had a feeling something was wrong." Kei stated.
"I really should stop holding in all my emotions sometimes, especially after what happened today." she mumbled. Kei thought about it and realized that what he'd done back at the hospital–when he kissed the greenette–might've been a bad move on his part.
"H-Hey Izuku."
"Y-Yes?"
"I'm... I'm really sorry about what happened at the hospital... last time. Y'know... when I kissed you all of a sudden. I just... I don't think I really got the love I wanted when I was dating Uraraka, so that's why I wanted to see if I'd get it from you. But I feel like an idiot now that I remember that you're seeing someone else. I'm sure I must've scared you that morning, right?" Kei asked.
"Ah- y-you didn't necessarily scare me, i-it was just unexpected! T-To be honest... I did kind of enjoy it, b-but that doesn't mean-"
"I get it, you don't see me in a romantic perspective, right?" Kei asked.
"R-Right! A-And... we were both a little crazy that night when we both broke up with our past partners, so we were just wanting someone to fill that emptiness. W-Would it be okay with you... if we just forgot all about what's happened between us in the past week and act... like friends?" Izuku asked.
"Oh... Hmph, yeah, sure we can!" Kei said happily.
"And... are you okay if I come and talk to you if something's on my mind? I know I'm just supposed to be your doctor, but... I don't think you're the only one that's been hurting." Izuku mumbled.
"I don't have a problem with that, as long as we can still keep in touch!" Kei said as he unexpectedly hugged the greenette.
"Ack! W-Why don't we not hug?" Izuku said nervously as she pushed him away.
"Oh, right, you're seeing someone else right now, duh! Then... is a handshake okay?" Kei asked as he held out his hand to her.
"Y-Yes... Yes we can do that and stay as just friends." Izuku said as she grabbed his hand and shook it.
"Right, just... as friends..." Kei muttered as he felt his chest start to throb.
"Okay... so do you have any requests for me about tomorrow? A-As your personal doctor?" Izuku asked.
"Mmmh... No, not that I can think of- wait! Can you make me breakfast again!" Kei begged.
"Ah- s-sure, of course. Just remember that I wake up pretty early this time."
"Yup! I won't... Do whatever I did this morning." Kei answered, trying to act like Katsuki.
"Well... Get some rest, Kacchan."
"Yeah, you too, Izuku." Kei said as he watched the greenette walk away from him and turn the corner.
'Hah- I hope whatever happens between me and Izuku doesn't affect Katsuki. This might be his body, but that doesn't mean I'm nothing compared to him. Who'd think that Izuku would end up being Katsuki's personal doctor just because of his arm, not that I'm complaining. This probably gives me a chance to see her more than before. Hah- time to go to sleep and hope that I end up being the one that wakes up in the morning to get Izuku's breakfast that she made for Katsuki. I'm still jealous that he got a breakfast made by her, but I haven't. I wonder if she's a good cook.' Kei thought as he walked into the building leading back to 'his' place.
