As he slowly opened his eyes, the blond looked to see Takashi sitting in front of him as well as Emra.
"Katsuki... is that you?"
"Can you hear us, Katsuki?" they both asked.
He moved his eyes around the room to try and understand where he was and then looked back at Takashi and Emra again.
"Is it you, Katsuki?" Takashi asked.
He sighed as he nodded his head at the two of them and they both exhaled with relief.
"I'll go tell Izuku." Emra said and walked out of the room.
Just when Emra left the room, Katsuki felt something in his hand and looked to see it was a wedding ring.
"It seems Izuku wanted to make sure that Kei was happy for the short time he had left." Takashi noted.
"He's conscious." Emra said, the second she left the room. Izuku looked at her cousin with worried eyes, as she was afraid to hear the result.
"A-And?"
"It's Katsuki." Emra answered.
As much as the greenette wanted to feel happy, for some reason, she felt her heart sink and the thought that Kei would never appear in front of her again was hitting her deeply.
"Do you... Do you want to see Katsuki?" Emra asked.
"I-I... N-No, I-I'll come and see him again a-another day. I-I need to go get some air." She mumbled as she slowly walked out of the hospital in disbelief of everything.
Katsuki remained sitting in that same chair and continued to stare at the ring in the palm of his hand.
"Kei left a video for you shortly before the therapy happened, would you like to watch it?" Takashi asked, handing him his phone. Katsuki looked up at the phone and took it out of the doctor's hand and started the video without a second thought.
"Hello, other personality, hmph; Katsuki. I will say that I'm thankful that you let me live my life in your body. Once I'm gone, you better treat Izuku like she's everything, or you'll become miserable all over again. I'm kinda surprised you were wanting to one day meet me in person, but I'll be honest... I don't want to see you ever again. Goodbye, Katsuki."
And the video ended.
"The only good thing now is that because your disorder has been cured, you can go back to your work as a hero. I'll have to make sure you take daily medicine everyday just so you don't have any headaches from your memories clashing together." Takashi explained.
"Hey... Takashi."
"Hm? What is it?"
"You... You still have your other personality, so why don't you get yourself cured for it?" Katsuki asked.
"Ah- Well, I guess I just got used to the feeling, and as much as I do want to be cured, I don't think my other personality would take it all that well. Let's just say that's my excuse for now." Takashi answered.
"Right..."
"But you're able to go home now that you've been cured, but just try not to overwork yourself for these first few days. Your mental health might be a little sensitive for these first few days, so just try and be careful with who you're talking to." Takashi said.
"And... What about Deku?" Katsuki asked.
"That's something you and her need to talk about, not me."
