Paging Dr. Deku

46: Replay

As she laid there in bed, Izuku was wide awake after everything that happened that night confused on what to think at this point. 

'This... is weird. I can't believe so much has happened tonight that I don't know what to think anymore. Kacchan... confessed to me, and then Reed kissed me and then Shindo kidnapped me and tried to take advantage of me. Then Kacchan came and saved me and now... I'm currently lying in Kacchan's bed after I said I wanted to stay at his place. Not to mention the fact that Kacchan looked like he was about to kiss me earlier when I was healing his hands. Kacchan really is two-faced after everything I went through tonight, but maybe... Maybe it's okay that Kacchan's so nice to me- Erm- I don't know anymore, so let's just go to sleep and I'll be fine in the morning.' she thought as she pulled the covers over her and closed her eyes. 

'Kacchan's sheets... they smell like caramel too... there's no mistaking that scent anymore.'

Katsuki was lying on his couch–staring at the ceiling–thinking back to everything he'd done that day. 

'Why didn't I stop her and tell her she shouldn't be here? Why did I almost kiss her? Just seeing her is difficult, what am I supposed to do? Why can't Kei be the one to handle this and let me hide?' he thought. 

And just as he was about to go to sleep, he glanced over at the door leading to his office and realized he needed to do something. 

'I already made a video earlier today... but maybe making another for Kei will make him wake up sooner.' he thought as he got up from the couch and walked quietly to his office. 

Before he entered his office, he peeked his head into his own bedroom to see the greenette was fast asleep, so he shut the door and went into his office. He walked up to his desk and sat down to turn on the computer and got the sight of his reflection right away and he didn't waste another second as he pressed the recording button. 

"Hah- As much as I thought that making these videos would be a pain, right now... I don't know what to do and I need your help. Please... help me... Kei."

It was completely dark in the living room as it was quite early in the morning, as the Sun had yet to rise, and as he turned to shift his position on the couch, the blond felt his eyes open. He looked up and around the room and though he wasn't sure where he was first, he soon realized where he was. 

'Huh? Am I... in the living room, but why? And why did I wake up?' Kei thought as he rubbed his eyes. 

'It's still pretty dark out, what time is it?' he thought as he grabbed the phone off the coffee table and looked to see it was 3 in the morning and then he took a glance at the date. 

'Wait- I've been asleep for a month? I knew I said I was gonna be hiding away for a while, but I didn't think it'd be this long. I'm sure Katsuki's made some videos for me to see.' Kei thought as he got up from the couch and walked straight to the office without a second thought.

He sat down at the desk and was surprised to see 5 videos in the past month and they were all from Katsuki. 

'5 videos? Huh, I thought it'd be less, so what'd he say?' he thought as he clicked on the first video and pressed play. 

"Hah- As much as I don't want to make this video, I have some news that I need to tell you, Kei." 

"News? What kind of news?" 

"Just today... Deku is now dating... again." Kei paused the video right away and felt a strong sting in his chest from hearing those words.
