Paging Dr. Deku

25: Close

After getting off work for the day, Izuku surprisingly didn't feel drained after the long hours, but that didn't mean her job was technically over for the day. 

'Okay, all I have to do is see Kacchan, ask him if he's in any pain or needs anything, and then I can go back to my place. I still can't believe I'm actually Kacchan's neighbor... Erm- focus! As much as it was nice to have lunch with Kacchan earlier, he is not the man I'm seeing and going on dates with. Though Reed is busy today, I can't think of this as some kind of opportunity to try and be with Kacchan. Kacchan is my patient, Reed is the one I want to date, big difference!' she thought as she was leaving the elevator. 

She walked down the hall and stopped right in front of the door, took a deep breath and slowly knocked on the door.

The sound of a distant knock at the door woke the blond up, and he batted his eyes a few times to hear the knocking again. 

'Huh? Is someone at the door?' he thought. The blond stood up from the bed and stretched as he walked through the place to soon reach the front door. 

'Who's-' 

He peeked his eye through the small hole in the door and instantly was wide awake and filled with delight to see a greenette waiting on the other side of the door. 

'It's- it is... it's Izuku!' Kei thought as he was about to grab the doorknob. 

'Wait- I need to have a good reason for her to stay here. Oh wait- I think I just thought of something she could help me with!' Kei thought.

'Maybe he's not home yet? He would've told me if he was out- wait- no he wouldn't. Should I wait a few more minutes or just leave? But what if he's seriously injured inside and isn't near his phone? Erm- like that would really happen. Maybe he's with his friends if he isn't here? Yeah, but he doesn't hang around his friends for really long periods of time. I guess... I should just go...' she thought as she turned around and was about to start walking away until-

"Izuku~!" 

"Ack! K-Kacchan...?" 

'He was inside? I didn't even hear him walking up to the door.' she thought. 

"I was waiting for you to come and see me today." Kei said happily. 

"Ah- I-I see... Then I'm assuming there's something that you need from me too?" Izuku asked. 

"Yup, and I know only you can do it." Kei said. 

'Please don't tell me I have to make him dinner?' Izuku thought. 

"W-What is it?" "Can you... help me wash my hair?" Kei asked, Izuku batted her eyes a few times. 

"E-Eh?" 

"I've tried to wash my hair by myself, but since I'm wearing this cast on my arm–that's not supposed to get wet–it's kind of hard to wash my hair with only one arm. Can you help me out, Izuku?" he asked with pleading eyes. 

"Ah- s-sure... I-I can help you out on... washing your hair..." 

"Awesome, let's go to the bathroom now!" Kei exclaimed as he grabbed the greenette's arm to follow him to the bathroom. 

'Why did I agree to be Kacchan's personal doctor again?' she thought.

As they got to the bathroom, the greenette was a bit in awe to see just how clean and organized the bathroom was.
