The sudden hit of light hit his face which instantly woke the blond up, but a strong headache appeared as soon as he opened his eyes.
"Fuck, my head. I'm not gonna drink for a while. Huh?"
As Katsuki sat up from the bed, he looked down and realized these weren't the same sheets he's used to sleeping with. He looked up and around the room and all of the decorations were completely different from his usual room.
'This... This isn't my room? Unless I was that drunk that I completely changed my room. Hm?' His thoughts were halted as he thought he smelled something coming from outside the room.
'What's that?'
He pushed the covers away and got up from the bed and walked to the door to open and see that this finally made him realize that this wasn't his place at all.
'Where am I? Who's place is this?' he thought.
"Oh, good morning."
The blond jerked his head and he felt his body go completely numb when he saw a certain greenette standing in the kitchen and looking at him.
"D-Deku?"
"I figured you'd wake up eventually, but you must have a headache after how much you drank last night, hm?" Izuku asked.
"I- What am I at your place? Did I end up drinking with you? I thought I drank with-"
"You did drink with your friends last night, and just as I was getting home from my date yesterday did your friends appear and I said I would help them get you to your place since I'm your friend, neighbor and doctor. But right as your friends were about to get on the elevator with me, they pushed only you into the elevator and abandoned me to be the only one to help you. And since I didn't know the passcode to your place, I ended up bringing you here. Hungry?" she asked.
"So... We didn't... do anything stupid?" he asked carefully.
"And define stupid."
"We didn't... do that... did we?" he asked, worried what her response would be.
"Kacchan, if we 'did it' you wouldn't be wearing clothes right now, would you?" she asked. She watched as the blond looked down at himself to see he was still fully dressed.
"Okay fair point. I'll just eat and then go back to my place and act like nothing happened." Katsuki groaned as he sat down at the table.
"Mn, I agree." Izuku replied as she set a plate of food out in front of the blond.
"Have you gotten used to wearing your cast after a week yet?" Izuku asked.
"Ah- not completely, but I'm fine."
An awkward silence surrounded them as they both ate their breakfast in peace, but this was worse than awkward, it was... getting uncomfortable.
"Did you... have a good date yesterday?" Katsuki asked, breaking the silence.
"Oh, yes I did. I enjoyed every moment of my date with Reed yesterday, and now we can finally make it official too." Izuku said.
"'Official'? Officially what?" he asked cautiously.
"Hmph, me and Reed are officially dating now!" she said happily.
Just hearing that response and how happy the greenette appeared only made the blond's chest throb and ache in heartbreak.
"Ah- good for you. Looks like you didn't wanna be single that long, huh?"
