Izuku was pacing back and forth after she'd gotten off work for the day and couldn't stop walking around her place with worry. The second she heard the sound of knocking at her front door, she ran over to open the door for Melissa to be standing there and she was out of breath.
"'Huff' I got here as fast as I could! You said you had something to tell me?"
"I do, come in, hurry!" Izuku said as the blonde entered her place.
They both sat down on the couch and Melissa could finally catch a breath.
"Hah- okay, what is it you wanted to talk about?"
"It's about Kacchan."
"Woah- wait, as in the Number 1 hero, Katsuki Bakugo? What happened?"
"Yes, that Katsuki Bakugo, listen, he showed up at my work today." Izuku said.
"O-... kay~ You do remember that you work at a hospital, right?"
"I know, but something happened."
"Well then tell me!"
"Okay, so first Violet-senpai asked me to take some files to Takashi's office."
"So far, simple." Melissa muttered.
"And when I went to Takashi's office, Kacchan was in there and talking to Takashi."
"Okay, that sounds normal."
"But it wasn't normal after what happened after I left Takashi's office." Izuku stated.
"What happened?"
"Well, I was at my desk–working–and Alban came up to bother me."
"Oh no, did he try to ask you to go on a date with him again?"
"Yes, but that's not it. Alban seemed off today, and by off I mean getting really close to me and was up in my face off."
"That son-of-a- what'd you do?" Melissa asked.
"As much as I wanted to punch him, I remembered that since he is my coworker, I shouldn't cause violence."
"What? If he's up in your face, that's past the point of no return and you should've punched him in the face!" Melissa exclaimed.
"But there was someone else who stopped him instead."
"What? Who?"
"Kacchan..."
"Wait- Back up, he stopped Alban? How?"
"Umm... he pulled Alban away from me and then pushed Alban's face onto my desk and held him against his will." Izuku mumbled quickly. Melissa batted her eyes a few times and was certainly not expecting that kind of response.
"So... he saved you?"
"In a way... yeah."
"Holy crap, do you know what that means, Izu?"
"N-No, what?"
"He likes you, Izu!!!" Melissa exclaimed as she grabbed the greenette by her shoulders.
"W-What? No way! Why would he like me when he's still dating Uraraka?"
"You never know, Izu, maybe he's losing those feelings he had for Uraraka and is getting interested in you!"
