'And done! Phew- I'm glad I got to talk to Melissa about everything that's happened, but it's still hard to believe that Kacchan would actually be two-faced. Then again, he has been acting really strange around me when we're alone recently. Erm- I shouldn't be thinking about that kind of stuff when I remember that I'll get to see Reed tomorrow, that really does prove this has been a long week. It's only been one week since I started being Kacchan's personal doctor, can I really do this for 7 more weeks? Of course I can! This is nothing compared to back when I was doing hero stuff for long periods at a time. And it's not like I'm watching Kacchan 24/7 since he can still take care of himself. Me and Kacchan are just friends, I need to keep that thought in my head.' she thought as she was about to leave work for the day.
The second the greenette stepped foot out of the hospital though, she was surprised to see a certain blond standing there at the entrance.
"Hm? Kacchan?" She watched as the blond looked up and walked up to her.
"Kacchan, what're you doing here? I thought you went home already?"
"I had to talk to Takashi some more about something, and then waited here until you were done for today." he answered.
"Eh? W-Waited for me? But why?"
She watched him start to scratch the back of his neck and a subtle blush appeared on his cheeks as he averted her gaze.
"We're neighbors now... and since you're my... sitter... it's a way you could watch me in case something happens. That and... it's not safe for you to walk home alone this late." he noted.
"Huh? Kacchan, the Sun's still out, I would've been fine to walk home alone this late."
"You don't know that."
'I shouldn't tell her that I saw someone earlier that looked like they were spying, I think it was the same guy from yesterday when me and Deku were together.' he thought.
"O-...Kay~ I guess you're right and I should listen to the Number 1 hero who's also injured at the moment." Izuku said as she started walking away from him.
"Wha- Yah!" He picked up the pace and started following behind her.
"I'm serious, it's not just heroes like me that're out here, there could be someone watching you if you're stupid to be walking alone."
"Okay Kacchan, I believe you, but that doesn't mean you have to walk me home everyday now just because we're neighbors."
"Just be glad I'm here then."
"I am, Kacchan."
"Well then, thank you for helping in getting me home, neighbor." Izuku said as they both stood in front of their doors to their homes respectively.
"Yeah..."
"Let me know if you need anything, you know it won't take me long to get here." she said as she turned around to face her door.
"Deku wait-"
"Yes?" She asked as she turned her head back to him.
"I-I-... I can't be the only one relying on you... You can rely on me too a bit." he answered.
"Oh, that's some really nice statement, but in case you forgot, you're the one with a broken arm here." she mentioned.
"Wha- You-"
