Paging Dr. Deku

70: Shall We?

"Man, I'm stuffed!" Kirishima exhaled. 

"Yeah, who'd have thought that Midoriya and Bakugo could cook that much and all of it tasted awesome!" Mina exclaimed. 

"Thanks for the special treat you guys- huh?" Kaminari paused as he looked around the room confused. 

"What's up with you?" Jiro asked. 

"That's weird, Bakugo and Midoriya were just here, so where'd they go?" Sero said. 

"Ah! They already cleaned the kitchen too! But where could they have gone without any of us noticing?" Kirishima yelled. 

Uraraka–who was just as shocked as everyone else in the room–could only clench her teeth in annoyance because she could only assume something that she didn't want to see to be the truth.

'Hah- I'm glad me and Kacchan escaped from everyone before they could notice us. Now that me and Kacchan have spent a good amount of time together, I can have the chance to spend equal time with Kei-kun.' Izuku thought as she moved her eyes to look next to her to see the blond lying next to her on the sandy beach with his eyes closed. 

'I had dinner with Kacchan, which means I'm gonna have dessert with Kei-kun, and I brought just what we needed for that dessert out here with us on the beach.' she thought as she started a fire with the few logs she collected while Katsuki went to sleep. 

Just as the logs sparked with flames, the eyes of the blond began to open and he sat up after realizing he was awake.

"What is-" 

"Kei-kun, is that you?" 

The blond turned his head to look at the greenette and was surprised how much the scenery had changed since the last time he was awake. 

"Where are we, Izuku?" 

"We're on the beach, I already spent some time with Kacchan for the day, so now I'm spending time with you." Izuku answered. 

"The beach... is anyone else here?" 

"Nope, it's just you and me, and I've come up with the best way to spend time with you for the night." Izuku stated. 

"How?" Kei asked with a raised eyebrow. 

"Easy, I brought these!" Izuku said as she pulled out a bag of marshmallows. 

"Marshmallows? What're we gonna make?" 

"Oh c'mon Kei-kun, how could you not know what we're making just from the sight of marshmallows and we're sitting in front of a campfire?"

"You mean... Ah- are we making s'mores?!?!?" Kei asked, getting excited. 

"Yup, just for you and me!" she said happily, pulling out a couple small poles to put the marshmallows on as well as chocolate bars and graham crackers. 

"Ah! I've always wanted to do stuff like this, it always reminds me of camping, which I've never done before either." Kei said as he placed a marshmallow on his mini-spear. 

"Well, maybe in the future, we'll find time to go camping, just the two of us." 

"Really?!?!" 

"Uh huh, now let's enjoy having some s'mores for right now." Izuku said. 

"Okay!!!" 

And the two of them would toast marshmallow after marshmallow and Izuku could tell how happy the blond was by doing this with him. Though she'd only had 3 or 4 s'mores, she was already full, but she was more surprised by how many Kei kept eating–which was 7 or 8.
