Spoiler Alert: Close Call!

I can't buy the movie so I am using the manga for this. Some parts are improvised... ALSO, I will be using Aniki in this. If you do not know that means brother in Japanese, and it is used often by Tanjirou to Kyojuro. This is one of the only times I will use honorifics that are in a different language.

English is underlined.

"We're in the belly!" Inosuke yelled out loud, causing other passengers to glare your way, "It's the beginning of the fight!"

"Shut up!" Zenitsu yelled at Inosuke before looking at Tanjirou with a calm face. Such a mood swing, "So this Rengoku dude is a pillar? Do you remember what he looks like?"

"Yes! He has very flashy hair," Tanjirou said with a smile, "I remember his smell as well, he is very close-"

"TASTY!" The four of you heard, making you jump up high. You let out a little squeak as you jumped up. You were expecting it but it was still deafening...

"TASTY!" Rengoku yelled, making Tanjirou look at him with shock, "TASTY! TASTY! TASTY!"

"This guy is the flame pillar?" Zenitsu whispered in your ear, looking suspiciously at the pillar, "Isn't he just a glutton?"

You let out a giggle at this before stepping up with Tanjirou as he yelled at Rengoku. Rengoku was very interested in his meal. You let out of little sigh at his wasted efforts before yelling out.

"RENGOKU!" You said in broken Japanese, you're American accent very present. Tanjirou looked at you in shock as you continued to yell at the pillar. 

"Tasty!" Rengoku yelled in Tanjirous face, making you jump back a little.

"I... I understand that very well," Tanjirou said with an awkward smile.

"Oh! I know you two!"' He yelled with a smile, "The ones with Ubuyashiki-Sama! The mind reader and the one with a demon!"

"Umm... Nope..." You said sadly, trying to correct him even though you can't speak with him.

"Did you say no?!" He yelled with a smile, making you jump high in the air with a shriek of surprise, "Hahaha! Surprised? I studied English because of you, though I only know the basics!"

He was very bad at English but you could at least understand what he meant. Someone who knew little, like Tanjirou, was left confused. You looked to Tanjirou, "Cover your ears! Don't eavesdrop!"

"What?!" Tanjrou looked offended, "Why?!" 

"Do it!" You yelled before looking at Zenitsu and pointed a finger at Tanjirou with one hand covering your ears. He nodded proudly a bit, but you weren't entirely sure he understood.

"Cover your ears Tanjirou!" Zenitsu yelled as he forced his hands onto Tanjirous head, yelling loudly to make him unable to listen.

"What are we doing?!" Inosuke yelled, yelling as well to feel included, "I WANNA DO THAT TOO!"

"Okay!" You smiled, giving the group a thumbs up before turning to Rengoku with a strict glare, "Don't bring up my secrets! I don't mindread! I see the future!"

"Oh!" He tried to interrupt you but you were not having it.

"Keep quiet!" You yelled again, glaring harder, "Don't tell on me! I might get killed! The fewer people who know the better!"

"Okay! I apologize M/N!" Rengoku yelled confidently, forgetting your name and just making it up.

"My name is Y/n! Y../...N" You sounded it out, still angry, "Get it right!"

"Okay! Y/n!" He smiled, not bothered by your angry face, "I apologize!"

"Shut up!" A fellow passenger yelled, making Zenitsu quiet down and Tanjirou rip his hands off with an angry face.

"Sorry!" You said to Tanjirou, "Secret!"

Tanjirou let out a sigh before going back to his normal smile and looking at Rengoku. You could tell he was still put off by the idea of you keeping a secret from him. You regret teaching him English...

"I am Tanjirou Kamado!" He said proudly, "these two are Zenitsu and Inosuke! You already know Y/n!"

"That I do!" Rengoku smiled, "I assume the box on your back is the demon?"

"Yes! This is my sister Nezuko!" Tanjirou smiled as he put his hand on the box and patted it.

"I see!" Rengoku pointed at you and Tanjirou, "Sit with me!"

You took the seat next to Rengoku, taking the spot that Tanjirou originally took in the movie. You opened the window leaning out as your hair stuck to your face from the harsh winds. You can't remember if you have ever been on a train, seeing you were a shut-in.

Tanjirou and Rengoku had their conversation as you continued to run out of the scene. You were somewhat worried. You knew that you would have to get your ticket punched, there was no way out of that.

"Tickets please..." You heard from behind you. You looked back and saw Zenitsu crying on the floor and the conductor punching tickets further up the cart. You reached into your pocket and clenched the ticket anxiously.

You couldn't put this off, so you needed a plan.

You know that the consciousness lingers in the brain for a few brief seconds, so in those few seconds, you would need to try and lucid dream.

You had done it before so you can do it again. You had no clue if it works the same, but if it does then you must be able to do it. It could not be that hard. If you couldn't you would just do what Tanjirou did.

"Kyaaahh!" A woman screamed on the train due to a demon appeared out of thin air. Rengoku stood up and pushed the conductor behind him.

"This is an emergency! I ask that you do not ask why I am carrying a sword!" Rengoku said while taking out his sword, "Were you hiding with a blood demon art big guy? It was hard to find your presence! However, if you are baring your fangs at innocents then I have no choice but to slaughter you!"

The demon let out a groan as it opened its mouth. Slobber fell from its jaws, dripping to the floor. Next thing you know, the demon's head was on the floor. Its body fell to the ground as the flame pillar sheathed his sword with a smile.

"That was amazing Aniki!" Tanjirou yelled, "That was amazing swordsmanship! Make me your disciple!"

"Alright! I will train you well!" He yelled smiling as the others gathered around him.

"Me too!" Zenitsu jumped up.

"Me too!" Inosuke yelled as well.

You did not jump around Rengoku, instead, you glared at the conductor like he was the worst person imaginable. He asked for your ticket warily. You were uneasy.

For the next few minutes, your head was leaning on Rengokus shoulder. You kept your eyes open for as long as possible, even as everyone around you was snoring peacefully. You blinked tiredly, and the moment you opened your eyes you lay in a bed in a child's room, the smell of plastic radiating through the room.

Taisho Era Secret! Rengoku Style!

That Y/n kid reminds me of myself when I was young! I am happy they can stand up for themselves! I would like to introduce them to Senjuro, maybe he could teach him to stand up for himself and not be pushed around!

Rengoku will not be a love interest. He will be a brother figure to Y/n.
