Amelia awoke to the sound of her phone beeping. She rolled over and looked at it, only opening one eye. She saw it was seven-thirty and the text was from Jacob. 'You ok? Why is he in jail?!?! Why are you not sleeping at your house? Sorry about all the questions. Please call me when you wake up.' She picked up the phone and called him.

It rang twice before he picked up. "Hey Jacob." she told him. "I'm alright, well as alright as I can be."

Jacob responded "Can we talk about it in person? If you don't wanna do that, it's fine. I just like being in person when you're upset so I can make you feel better. Or at least try."

She thought for a moment and replied "Um sure. Wanna meet up in like thirty minutes? I gotta go try and find some clothes at my place. I didn't pack anything before I came here."

"Alright see you then. I'll pick you up from your place in thirty." Jacob hung up the phone. Amelia got out of bed and walked downstairs to find Henry and Regina at the dining room table eating breakfast.

Henry looked up from his scrambled eggs and called out "Morning Lia! How'd you sleep?" Amelia walked over and placed a kiss on his head.

"I slept great Henry." she lied to him. Amelia didn't like lying to Henry but she didn't want to make him sad.

Henry passed her the plate of bacon. "Great. Don't just stand there, eat up."

Regina told her son, "Henry, you have an appointment with Dr. Hopper in twenty minutes. You have to get dressed. Do that and then you can finish the last of your bacon."

He sat down deeper in his chair and pouted. "But mom, it doesn't take me long to get ready and-"

Amelia cut him off "Henry don't argue with your mom. C'mon go get ready and I'll take you to the park later if it's ok with your mom."

Regina thought for a moment before she said "Yes you two can go to the park later." Henry got up and began to run up the stairs

"Don't run on the stairs, Henry! I swear you're gonna fall and hurt yourself one of these days!" Amelia yelled after her brother who stuck his tongue out at her.

Regina smiled slightly as Amelia sat down. "How did you get so good with Henry? He is always so happy to see you and he goes out of his way to avoid me. He only ever wants to be around you and Ms. Swan."

Amelia was surprised that Regina would tell her that. The Mayor kept most things she felt very close to her chest. "Oh, um, I am not sure how I got so good with kids. The only one I ever really am around is Henry. Don't let Henry know but I'm on your side. I don't like Emma either. She ruined what you and Henry have. Can I ask how this is going to work? How long am I staying here? Do I have to ask before I leave and do stuff? And what chores can I do to thank you for letting me stay here?"

"I'm glad someone else sees that Ms. Swan is no good for Henry. As spending time with you keeps Henry away from her, stay as long as you need, Amelia. You're almost an adult, you don't need to ask to do things. Just let me know when you leave and when you're planning to be back. If you want to do chores that is fine." Regina finished as Henry walked down the stairs and sat back down at the table.

"Hey Henry, I gotta go for a bit but I will be back later to take you to the park." Amelia told him as she turned to Regina. "I should be back in an hour or two. I'm gonna go pick up some stuff from home and hang out with Jacob for a little while. And I have work at Granny's this afternoon for a few hours."

Amelia got up and stole a piece of bacon off Henry's plate "Hey that's mine!" he called after her as she made her way to the guest room and put her clothes on from yesterday. Once Amelia was dressed she grabbed her coat and walked out the door, making a silly face at Henry.
