"I gotta run, love you!" Amelia called to Matt as she ran out the door. She had work at Granny's and didn't want to be late. She pinned back her hair and had on jeans and a white slightly puffy shirt. It was cute but still great for work.

She opened the door to the dinner and walked in back and grabbed her apron. "There you are, girl! Thought you forgot to come in. you're working behind the counter and are on coffee and drinks today. Ruby is working the floor." Granny told her as she poked her head out of the kitchen door.

"Got it, Granny. I overslept. I was up late." After a few days she and Matt got the house back to normal and she had mostly stopped pestering him with questions. She had time to paint her room again and it looked great. Matt made a few sketches of the enchanted forest over the curse and let her see them to paint her room like their old home.

Ruby walked over to the counter and said "I need two OJs, a pot of coffee, and a hot chocolate with cinnamon and a coffee to go." She walked back to the customers and began taking more orders.

Amelia made the coffee and the hot chocolate for Henry, as he was the only one who liked that other than Emma and Mary Margate. A family trait I guess. She thought to herself as she filled up the cups of orange juice and put everything on a try for Ruby.

The door opened and Leroy walked in with his normal scowl and sat down at the counter. "Hey, Leroy, what can I get you this morning?" she asked with a smile. Even if he was the most crabby person in town she still wanted to be nice to him.

"A soft-boiled egg, white toast, sausage, hash browns, and coffee." he told her grumpily.

"Coming right up." She responded after writing it down and getting the slip into the kitchen. She grabbed a cup and saucer and poured him a cut of coffee. Soon she brought the plate over to him and he hacked into the egg with his knife.

The door opened again. Water and Tom walked in and saw that the only two open seats were next to Leroy. "Excuse me, Leroy, do you mind scooting over a seat so Walter and I can sit together?"

Leroy looked unamused as he told them "If I wanted to sit there, I would have sat there. If you want this, try dragging your sorry asses out of bed a little earlier."

"You're a real ray of sunshine as," Tom started before letting out a large sneeze all over Leroy's breakfast.

Leroy threw down his toast on his plate and got up. "Congrats. Just lost my appetite. Seats all yours." he whipped his face off and tossed some cash down on the table.

"Leroy, you want your change?" Amelia called after him.

"Nah, it's my good thing for the day. See ya sister." he called sarcastically.

Amelia picked up his plate and walked in back, clearing it off. "I can do that kid, you got people to deal with." Granny told her trying to take the plate.

"Tom sneezed all over a customer's food again. And to start my morning off even better it was the town's ray of sunshine's food." Amelia told her still cleaning off the plate herself.

"That boy has got to get some better cold medicine. I swear if he does that one more time, he has to take his food outside so everyone can eat in peace." Granny said with a laugh as Amelia set the dish down in the dish pile.

When she walked back out Mary Margert was talking to the whole dinner "There exquisite candles. All we need are a few energetic volunteers. So who wants to join me?" Amelia saw how much she was fidgeting. She was still unsure how she felt about her after everything.

On the one hand, she and David really did belong together. Even the curse couldn't stop their love for each other. Now that she knew they were together she realized how happy they seemed the last few weeks when she saw them. Maye them being together could help break the curse, they were the main heroes of the book after all.
