So, I said we need to talk?
Is everything okay you replied
No need to be worried I said
Just call me back when you have the time
I don't like being crazy
Though I know it's my natural state of mind
So I sit at my computer and type
Hoping to make sense in a clever rhyme
It doesn't bother me if your mother doesn't want company
Or that you don't want to see me sometimes
Because I know deep down I'm an introvert
The only time I speak is during family time
But when you told me to come over last night
With no follow up text after mine
I figured you forgot and would text me no later than 9
But time passed and the morning came,
You texted me at 1 pm
Just allow me to explain.
We need to talk,
So I can make sense of this,
At least if I were your girlfriend,
My feelings would be justified when you seemingly left.
Having no clarity sucks,
And my sister is tired of being my therapist.
So, Can you please pick up your damn phone
Because I promise you that would hurt less
