My friend's dating the Spanish professor
The last time I heard
This anomaly of student with teacher is strange I have to concur
A few rounds in Cuba, doing a little shopping and staying out late
A couple throwdowns with a few white girls
and her connection was deemed fate
Now she visits his two bedroom apartment
Making awkward covo with his Indian roommate
She floats around like a balloon after their steamy dates
She goes around singing weird folk music
And always answers "bueno"
She feels bad about skipping class with me and her eyes are in a glow
Everything from yoga in the middle of the park
And cuddling with his old hippy wooden guitars
My strange mop-looking Spanish teacher has stolen her heart
Their wedding will be over Cuba on a flying Papusa float
Her ex's pour into the ceremony; those men off those spanish soaps
At the end of the night, people will line up directly in front of me
And ask if I ever knew the two were meant to be
And that's when I'll drop down, laughing,
Straight to my knees and utter the only word I learned in his class
and that is "SI"
