The leaves are brown,
The earth is still
And no one is around to find me.
Yet you are there,
Standing unbothered and calm.
You caress my face and kiss my neck,
Muting a peace between us.
No matter life's time or it's occurrence,
Our lines are intertwined to be one in the same.
