Let's suppose someone would get to know me,
I wonder what they would see inside.
Would you like the person standing before you,
Or would you cut your loses and push her aside
"We reviewed you current application,
and we regret to inform you you've been denied."
Is it not enough that I play a part in my own life,
Starring as someone I made up,
Figuring that she is more nice.
You won't admit it to yourself,
but me being like this is more easier for you,
I made myself a "better person" so you wouldn't have to.
I can be whatever you need me to be,
and you wouldn't need to ask.
You say you want to see the real me,
but you wouldn't recognize her without the mask.
