I don't know what to write
So I will write the first things that come to my mind
Donald Trump's booming on the TV
Once again, all ears can hear it
Donald Trump the perfect remedy
To get me into the Christmas Spirit
I feel as though I could sell my soul
To not have to go to work this morning
Coronavirus has everyone in a lull
Waiting for this pandemic to be boring
Going for a walk people, not taking keys
Mom says as she walks out of the door
I'm shaking my foot and shaking my knees
While wanting more marshmallows from the store
Facebook posts were depressing this week
And the house is a peaceful quiet
Someone blow up a big red balloon
So I can shimmie in and hide inside of it
I need to finish watching Hallmark movie
The plot in the one I'm watching is so prolonged
The characters should say, "I like you, you like me...
And the joy of Christmas was in our hearts all along."
I also need to eat, should it be oatmeal
I'm texting back people two days late again
I'm starting this day, and I don't know what to feel
But I guess I'll figure it out once I begin.
Well gotta be to work at ten, Don't know how to close this,
But you can't go wrong with the end.
