Funny, they're playing my song
But I'm not apart of it
I would love to sing along
But I'm goin' on a trip
A trip further than Hong-Kong
That would make me forget
That they are playing my song
And I cannot sing it
I don't know what I did wrong
What she did right, dumb chick
For her to just come along
And steal my song like this
Mom said you had to be strong
In this musical biz
If she stopped smoking her bong
I bet, I almost wish
That she would have told me "Strong?"
"Baby girl, you're not it."
I've been chasing this so long
That I'm sick on vomit
I'll gulp these pills to my song
So I can take my one-way trip
