⚠️Chapter 8⚠️

⚠Trigger Warning - Sexual assault and use of alcohol⚠

As I finished up my makeup, the rest of the day seemed to fly by faster than I had anticipated. Outside the apartment, I hear a horn beep and look down from my bedroom window to see Harley's car parked on the side of the road.

I take a quick look in the mirror and notice that I am dressed in a black pleated skirt that sits just above my knees, a glittery red shirt, and a black leather jacket. Cole chose my outfit because I have no sense of style, especially when it comes to parties.

"Your boyfriend is here!" I hear Cole yell.

"He's not my boyfriend Cole," I roll my eyes as I grab my purse and walk out my bedroom door.

"Wow." Cole mumbles under his breath. I look at him and notice his cheeks have turned a coral pink.

"You picked the outfit." I remind him and exit my apartment.

I greeted Harley, who was waiting in his car, windows rolled down.

"Y-You look stunning." He blushes awkwardly as I sit in the white leather passenger seat.

"I appreciate it." I can't help but smile at his endearing stutter.

We begin the drive in silence until he places his hand gently on my thigh.

"You're going to make me insanely jealous tonight." He says this as he moves his hand up and down, sending intense shivers through my body as his hand goes slightly under my skirt.

"What exactly do you mean?" I question myself, trying not to make it obvious that I'm about to melt from his touch.

"Everyone will be looking at you."

I don't know what to say in response, so we sit in silence for the remainder of the drive, his hand resting intensely close to my clothed heat.

When we arrive, the music is already blasting at full volume, and there are many people dancing with red plastic cups all over the front lawn and balcony of the two-story house. Typical.

'Only a few people huh?' I think to myself as we get out of the car and walk inside.

Harley has already recognised his friends and approaches them, leaning in for a hug, while I slowly follow behind him. I introduce myself to Jesse Lee, the party's host and Harley's best friend. As the conversation devolves into awkward silence - at least for me - I decide to seek out a familiar face, Finn.

I enter a small living room past the main hallway to find Finn sitting on a couch with a red cup, talking with another guy. He pauses in his conversation and looks up at me, frozen.

"Wow, you're stunning." He yells as he stands up and struggles to maintain his balance. 'Is he seriously drunk already?' I think to myself.

Finn sets his cup on the coffee table before leaning in for a hug.

"You smell fantastic." He whispers as his nose brushes up against my neck, smelling my perfume.

"OK, you're very drunk, let's get you fixed up," I gently push him off of me. I start walking him towards the nearest restroom, making sure he doesn't pass out on the way. We walk up to an unlocked door to a guest bedroom, and I place Finn on the bed before going to the ensuite to get a glass of water from the sink.

"I don't want water." As I fill the glass, I hear Finn groan behind me.

"That's too bad." I walk back to notice Finn sat up against the headboard, arms folded like a child.

"Drink." I command reaching out to give him the water. He sighs and takes a small sip before setting the cup on the beside table.

"Do you have feelings for Harley?" He asks seemingly out of nowhere.

"What? No, I've only just met him." I say while trying to persuade Finn to drink more water.

"You look so lovely tonight, what's he going to do to stop any man from touching you?" Finn gives me a sidelong glance before licking his lips. Oh shit, I have to get out of here.

"What are you doing, Finn?" I begin to back away as he leans in closer and places his hand on my inner thigh.

"I want you, Audrey." He says as he slides his hand up my skirt. I slap his hand away and try to walk away, but he grabs my arm and pulls me onto the bed with great strength.

"Let go of me!" I scream as I struggle to break free from his grip. He refuses to move.

"Please give me another chance." As he climbs on top of me and pins my wrists above my head, Finn says.

"Harl-" I try to scream, but a warm hand covers my mouth.

Finn then releases my wrists and holds them by my side with his knees before slowly removing my shirt with his free hand. My arms are already in a lot of pain from being immobile and with so much weight crushing them into the mattress below us.

I'm screaming for help at the top of my lungs, but his tight grip on my mouth prevents any sound from coming out. He takes off his shirt and uses it to prevent any further noise from coming out of my mouth.

"Be a good girl and let me touch you." He says this as he runs his hands down the waistband of my skirt, attempting to pull it down. I try to use my legs to keep the skirt from falling down my thighs, but he has too much power over me and successfully undresses me, leaving me in just my panties and bra. I'm about to pass out. My life is over.

I start crying, tears streaming down both sides of my cheeks as he starts taking his pants off.

"Don't cry baby, I'm just showing you what you're missing," He wipes my tears with his thumb before taking off his boxers and pants in one go, dropping them to the floor. Finn's hands begin tp travel the surfaces of my body, cupping my breasts over my bra and then moving his fingers down to touch me where I'm praying he will pass out from being too drunk. I close my eyes, bracing myself for what is to come, until I hear heavy footsteps outside the corridor. Finn is too drunk to notice, so I take advantage of the situation by yelling for help even though the sound barely escapes my lips.

The door swung open, revealing Harley, his fists curled up by his sides. I saw pure rage in his face as he ran up to Finn, pushed him to the ground, and punched him several times in the face. Cole walked through the room shortly after and picked me up along with my clothes, and I began to cry more and more.

"Everything will be fine; Harley will look after him." He comforts me as he wipes my tears away while carrying me to another room making sure no one else sees.

That's when I blacked out.
