"I was hoping to invite the group over tonight." Cole starts.

"Can Harley come then?" I propose making it the sole exception.

"He's apart of the group, right?" Cole laughs and begins messaging his group chat, inviting everyone to come over. I'm just hoping we don't get a noise complaint, especially since Cole is already a loud person, let alone eight of them.

"Does this mean Mr. Allons is coming?" Cole laughs again when his name is announced.

"Call him Chris; it's strange when people address him by his surname."

"I'm sorry, but I'm not used to my boss befriending me." I join in on the laughter.

Cole wonders into the kitchen and pulls out packets of chips, crackers, dip, and a sushi platter that he purchased earlier that day. He arranges everything on our small dining table near Cole's room and turns on some music on the television.

"Harley is almost here; would you like us to get you some alcohol?" Cole nods when I enquire. I walk into my room to get my jacket and purse before hearing a knock at the door. I waved goodbye to Cole and walked outside our apartment to find Harley dressed in an all-black leather outfit that looks far too sexy on him.

"What's the deal with the leather?" I seek clarification, taking another look at his attire. He's dressed in almost too-tight black leather pants, a band t-shirt, and a black leather studded jacket.

"I just thought you'd enjoy it." He says this as we walk to his car and drive to the liquor store.

We returned home after about ten minutes to find that everyone had arrived; our tiny apartment seemed so crowded despite the fact that there were nine of us in total. I look around, trying to recall everyone's names as I waved to them before going to the fridge to put the alcohol away.

"Don't be concerned; I told them your room was off limits." Cole laughs as he notices I was feeling a little overwhelmed. "Are you and Harley interested in joining us for some truth or drink?"

"I'm fine." Harley speaks up.

"I'll go for a few rounds." I give in, and we all take our places on the living room floor, encircling the coffee table.

"Luke? Did you want to begin?" Cole inquired of the slim brunette boy sitting next to Hayden. Luke prepares his question while I take a quick shot.

"Alright. Do you still have feelings for your ex, Hayden?" Luke questioned, and Hayden immediately went to get his drink. He downed a shot, and everyone burst out laughing.

"Are you gay, Felix?" Hayden asks Felix, then bursts out laughing. Everyone else is cracking up except me; I'm not sure why this is amusing to them.

"No, I simply like you guys." Felix responds, and I finally understand. He is the group's cuddle bunny.

The commotion stops, and Felix turns to face me. "How many times have you and Harley slept together?"

My face flushed; I was almost convinced that Felix had no idea what sex was because he gave off such a pure and innocent vibe to me.

"I think that's enough questio-"

"It's more than you've ever had!" I cut Harley off and take a big gulp of my drink, my throat burning as the liquid passed down my oesophagus.

Everyone burst out laughing at my response, but they quickly stop when they notice Cole and Harley's reactions.

As I prepare to ask the next person a question, the noise level decreases. I'm definitely getting drunk by now; in between questions, I've been taking shots and sipping my alcohol, not realising that everything I've been drinking is a mix.

"Harley." I start, and he looks at me with concern in his eyes. "When are you going to quit being jealous?"

Silence dominates the room, and all eyes were on us. "I'm not jealous," Harley says, clearing his throat.

"You certainly are! When I'm with Felix, you get jealous." I yell back. Everyone starts to back away from us, expecting a fight, but instead, Harley rolls his eyes and walks into my room, slamming the door shut behind him.

"Let me speak with him." Felix stands up and walks past, lightly tapping my shoulder.

After ten minutes, neither of the boys had left my room, and I begin to worry. Jesse and Syd are chatting by the fridge in the kitchen, Luke and Hayden have gone into Cole's room to play on his gaming console, leaving Cole and Chris on the couch in the living room with me.

"I'm so sorry for ruining your small gathering." I say this while looking at both Christopher and Cole.

"Harley did, not you." Cole responds.

"Neither of you did; we're all still here, so nothing was lost." Chris interrupts.

I shoot Chris a comforting smile and then I hear my bedroom door open. Harley and Felix walk out together, and my eyes scan their bodies for any signs of black eyes or bruises, but there aren't any.

I sigh with relief and rush over to them. "I'm sorry, I think I drank too much and-"

"It's fine, let's go for a walk." Harley extends his hand and takes my hand in his as we walk out the front door.

"What happened?" I enquire, hoping to break the awkward tension that has developed between us as we walk down the dark street with only one light.

"Felix promised to stop getting in the way."

"What? He doesn't get in the way of anything!" I yell, attempting to conceal some of my rage.

"He is! I'm afraid you'll start falling for him, which I can't have, so he's permanently removed himself from your schedule." Harley responds, his hands in his jacket pockets, his gaze straight ahead, avoiding eye contact with me.

"That is not your decision, Harley. You're a jerk!"

I turn around and stumble my way back to the apartment without looking back. I'm not going to let Harley take Felix off my schedule.

I dash inside the house and rush towards Felix, grabbing his arm and dragging him with me to my room, closing the door behind me.

"Don't let Harley get into your head; I want to keep working with you and continue to have you in my life. It's Harley's problem, not ours." I start.

Felix sits on my bed, his head tilted down, and says nothing. "Felix?" I question my decision to sit besides him.

He shuffles over to make space and makes eye contact with me while crying.

"I think Harley has a point." He mumbles softly, almost imperceptibly. I raise an eyebrow at him, and he goes on, "I like you Audrey. I don't want to get in between you two."

"Felix-"

"Don't say what you're about to say, I can put you back with Harley or Cole."

"No, you're not going to do that, Harley needs to grow up." I yell and Felix just nods unsure what to say next.

After that it's just silence. Felix gets up from the bed and walks out the door leaving me in my thoughts. What am I going to do?
