I lay in bed, attempting to sleep but finding it impossible to relax. I continue to toss and turn, alter the temperature in my little bedroom, and listen to music, which usually does the trick, but nothing worked.

I'm completely awake, sitting upright in my bed against the headboard, unsure what to do. The alarm clock besides the bed displays '12:41AM,' Felix could still be awake. Instead of messaging him, I decide to call him, knowing that he won't answer if he's sleeping, no matter how loud the call is.

"Audrey?" He inquires, his voice not at all fatigued.

"I didn't wake you up, did I? I can't sleep tonight, I'm wide awake." leaning forwards , I whine.

"I can't sleep either; I had a phone call with Chris about business that kept me up late, but I'm not even sleepy now." Felix groans.

"Can I come over then?" Knowing the various possibilities of the enquiry, I almost stutter.

"Y-yeah, sure." Felix stutters before proceeding. "I only have one bedroom though since I live in the cabin alone."

"We can share like last time, unless you're uncomfortable with that." I respond politely.

"I'm happy with that."

I hang up the phone and change into a large t-shirt and some comfy bike shorts before composing a note to place on my bedside table for my father to read. He should be alright with me staying with Felix because he let me live with Cole and is aware of Harley's situation. I think back to when dad warned me about sneaking out, but at least him and Felix get along. Before heading out the front cabin door, I hurriedly fix my hair and grab a lightweight coat. The chilly wind strikes me in the face, and I groan as I walk through the thin covering of snow to Felix's house. Luckily his cabin is within walking distance and the weather will be bearable enough until I get there.

I gently knocked on his front door, cringing at the pain in my hand as the icy air made it seem like it was about to snap. As the door opens, Felix's joy turns to panic as he discovers my cold presence.

"Oh my god, you could've told me to pick you up." He shouts as he grabs a blanket and wraps it around my body.

"It's okay, I'll warm up in a minute." I respond, seeing Felix's cuteness when he's worried.

"You might get sick!" He says this as he brings me to his room, where the temperature is just right. He sits alongside me and wraps his arms over my body in an attempt to warm me up.

"Thank you." I say while peering into Felix's coffee-stained eyes, I notice that the gorgeous tones of brown are reminiscent of an elaborate design found in a café.

Felix looks down, toying with two beige-coloured rings on his fingers. "H-how come you're unable to sleep?" He inquires, momentarily pausing in his enquiry.

"I'm not sure, I've tried everything that helps me sleep." I sigh and gaze down at the carpet, kicking my feet against it.

"Maybe you just need some company. I get like that sometimes, I'm always desperate for company." Felix laughs quietly.

I nod at the boy and take a seat against the headboard; Felix follows, sitting next to me.

"Do you live alone here?" I wonder, observing that there isn't a room opposite Felix's like there is in my cabin.

"I lied about visiting my parents; I actually use their cabin to have some alone time."

"How come you lied about it?" I look up at him, his stare fixed on me.

"I'm not sure, I think I didn't want anyone worried about me."

Felix senses my eyes becoming tired as he carefully pulls my back and head up to slip a pillow beneath so I don't fall asleep on the hard timber. He lets go, and I turn to face him; his beautiful eyes are locked on mine, and his lips are slowly forming a kissable grin. I jerk out of my reverie and attempt to cover my eyes, hoping Felix doesn't notice me staring at his lips.

My body begins to move as Felix gradually draws me closer to him, resting my body on top of his.

"I hope this is okay." When he talks, I nuzzle my head into his chest and put my arm over his stomach, drawing myself closer to him.

"It's perfect." I murmur, keeping my eyes closed.

Felix places his hand on my lower back and begins massaging little circles, occasionally patting my back, and being with Felix makes me feel warm and comfortable. His other hand touches my hair, softly brushing his fingers through the tresses and tucking it behind my ear. His actions continue, and I begin to feel butterflies, but not the butterflies that I felt when Harley touched me; this is different. Felix's touch is kind and soothing, making me feel pleased and at ease.

"Mmm," I mumble in response to his touch.

Felix comes to a halt and grips the tip of my chin between his thumb and index finger, causing me to tilt my head upwards to look at him. I open my eyes to find a stunning grin, a constellation of freckles, and perfect brown eyes staring back at me.

"You're so beautiful." He whispers as his palm touches my cheek, the pad of his thumb softly rubbed over my flushed cheeks. I'm taken aback by his statement and simply gaze at him, not knowing what to say. Felix chuckles quietly and rubs my face with his thumb. "You deserve the entire world."

I don't know what to say, so I lean up to his face and stare into his eyes, but my gaze is drawn to his lips. They are soft and plump, nicely formed, and I immediately imagine how they would mould with mine. I move my hand to his cheek and lean in to kiss him, closing my eyes as he does the same. Felix smiles against my lips before intensifying the kiss; it seems more profound and intimate than our first kiss. I keep our lips linked as I carefully pull my leg over his waist to straddle his lap, keeping one hand on his cheek as the other leads down his neck and settles on his shoulder. Felix's hands glide down my sides and halt on my waist, gradually tightening his grasp and causing me to gasp into his mouth. He takes advantage of the situation by slipping his tongue through and intertwining with mine. We pull away to catch our breaths, looking into each others eyes, both unsure on what just happened.

"I did not expect that." Felix giggles and keeps his hands on my waist while both of my hands remain on his shoulders.

"Me neither." I reply, chuckling with him as he brings a thumb to my lips, gently guiding it across my bottom lip.

"What do you want?" He questions through a whisper, his eyes scanning between mine and my lips.

"I-I'm not sure." I stutter. Why am I stuttering?

The thought of Felix and I going any further makes me excited but also nervous since kissing was the furthest we went last time and this time just feels different. Last time felt needy and desperate however this time feels more passionate and meaningful. I feel free to do whatever I want and right now, I want Felix.

I look into his eyes, hesitant but say, "I want you."
