I freeze, unsure how to respond. His comments were comforting to hear, and I felt the quick warmth of butterflies fluttering their wings in my stomach. What was he doing to give me butterflies? The kind that's never felt so powerful before.

"I know you are not ready to tell me how you feel, but I just wanted to get my feelings out." Felix reassures and I internally let out a big sigh of relief, still feeling the insects crawling in my body.

"Y-You're not hurt by me not having an answer?" I question in disbelief as I can't bare to hurt someone like Felix.

"Of course not, feelings will take time." The blonde smiles and peck my lips gently. We lay in silence, slowly falling asleep as my back rests against his chest under his firm grip around my waist.

I am abruptly woken up to the sounds of shuffling and the laughter of a group of people outside my door, 'Cole wouldn't have guests over this early?' I say to myself, but then I look at the clock on my bedside table; it's already noon. Felix is still sleeping sweetly, his lips hanging wide, causing his breathing to be a bit noisy. I giggle as I study his beauty: freckles spread over his face, lovely blonde locks carelessly resting on his brow, and perfect pink full lips slightly chapped. I hesitate to kiss him since I don't want to wake him up, so I put on some biking trousers and a bra underneath Felix's shirt that I fell asleep in.

Opening the door as quietly as I can, I spot a full house of everyone except Harley standing in the main entry way chatting to each other. The chatter stops as they turn their attention to me.

"You're awake!" Kiki shouts and lunges into my arms, encircling me into a warm hug. I smile against her shoulder and return the hug.

"I missed you!" She exclaims.

"Shh~ You might wake Fel-" Realising what I was saying, I stopped myself mid sentence. Kiki's glare changing to confusion as she tilts her head to the side.

"You dirty little whore! Felix?" She questions loudly, enough for everyone in the entire room to hear.

"I knew that was his shirt." Hayden yells out.

Everyone stumbles closer to me except for Cole and Chris who stand together by the kitchen, arms crossed, unsure what to say or do. Jesse didn't follow the others, he almost looks... hurt?

"How long has this gone on for?" Luke inquires, trying to peak through the slightest gap in my bedroom door.

"Can you guys not tell Harley about this? Felix and I aren't official we have only-"

"Slept together?" Hayden interrupted, laughter echoing in the room.

I roll my eyes, clearly showing that I'm annoyed. Kiki is aware of my annoyance and speaks up, "We won't tell him, I promise."

I look up at her and smile before scanning the rest of the group, they nod to her response.

"Thank you."

Just as the conversation starts to die down, the door behind me opens, revealing a shirtless Felix walking out, yawning before freezing, realising everyone is staring at him.

"It's not what it looks-"

"We already know, Audrey accidentally told us." Kiki spills before continuing, "And don't worry, we won't tell Harley."

Felix sighs in relief, hugging his friends that he hasn't seen in while.

While everyone settles in and shares a lunch together, I walk up to Jesse who hasn't said a word since the news was dropped. He ended up disappearing into Cole's room while we were all occupied filling everyone in on our holiday.

I knock on the Cole's door, hearing a faint "Come in." Jesse is sat up on the bed, scrolling through his phone until he peels his eyes away to look at me.

"Are you okay, Jesse?" I question, seating myself on the edge of the bed.

"Mhm." He mutters, turning his attention back to the screen.

I roll my eyes and take the phone out of his hand, placing it out of his reach which causes him to groan like a child.

"You can have it back once you tell me what's wrong."

Jesse hesitates for a moment, folding his arms across his chest as he sits up properly to look at me. "Did you even love Harley?"

The question surprised me.

"Of course I did, where is this coming from?"

"You moved on so fast, I know you and Felix didn't only just start 'hanging out' together."

"What do you mean?" Is all I could conjure up.

Jesse took a breath before talking, "I called Felix while you guys were on holidays, and when I asked about you, he stuttered so much and I could tell straight away that you two had been seeing each other." The boy looked down, he was hurting because he felt bad for Harley, but why? Harley cheated.

"Jesse... it's not like that-"

"Then what is it? He's not a rebound right? You wouldn't hurt Felix like that." The younger added, clearly frustrated.

"Felix is not a rebound. He confessed his feelings for me, but I never gave him any back, I don't know how I feel about him, I don't want to take that big step again." I finally manage to get my words across.

Jesse nods his head, looking down while fidgeting with his fingers. "When will you tell Harley?"

"If we ever make it official with Felix, then I will tell Harley, but right now, can you keep it a secret?"

Jesse nods once again and I leave the room, exhaling a clump of air that felt trapped inside my lungs. I feel terrible for the younger that he has to keep such a secret when really, it's none of Harley's business. At the same time, it is better if Harley didn't know what is happening between the blonde and I.

Stepping out into the living room, everyone's heads turn to face me, noticing where I had just exited from.

"What were you doing?" Syd asks, curiosity displayed on his face.

"I was talking to Jesse, he's just a little concerned about Harley, but it's okay." I reply.

Silence fills the air, no one really sure what to say next until Felix clears his throat.

"We were talking about plans for Christmas since it's in a few days, Cole mentioned how you were supposed to spend it with your dad, but since a change of plans, we were thinking of celebrating it all together." The blonde suggests, a glistening smile spread across his lips and a light tint of cherry on his cheeks.

"That sounds lovely." I accept and join the group which half are seated on the couch and the rest remain on the floor. Felix pats his lap and I walk over and sit on it, trying not to put all my weight onto the slim boy. With Harley, sitting like this was often a sexual thing, however, with Felix, it feels comforting and safe as his arms wrap around my waist, pressing my back to his chest.

"There will be a slight problem about Christmas." Luke speaks up before adding, "Harley will be there."
