It has been two months since the police showed up at Harley's doorstep. A lot happened within that time: I finally pressed charges on Finn, he is now in prison for five years. Cole was upset about it and didn't talk to me for a few days but then understood my point of view of the situation and let it slide. Hayden and Luke are happily dating and they love showing their affection for each other in public, especially when we are trying to eat food. Kiki and Syd have gotten really close to each other but have not confirmed if they are in a relationship or not. Jesse has opened a singing club at the school which Chris and Syd also partake in. Harley and I have been good, we rarely ever argue anymore and we feel happy with each other. The only issue we have is we never spend much time together anymore as I usually head back to my apartment after work and spend time with Cole since he doesn't really have anyone to go to.

I now teach both dance and English, which makes it really hard to see Harley throughout the day as dance sometimes continues after school hours. Felix and I work together and I hate to say, but he's gotten quite lonely now that everyone in the group is pairing up. I told Felix that there's always Cole to run to if he's that desperate, but now he won't even laugh anymore. It's gotten to a point where we rarely say 'hi' and just get straight into work. I miss Felix, he won't even hangout with the group anymore or respond to any text messages.

Everyone seems so distant from each other so in attempt to bring everyone close again, Cole and I want to throw a little party where people can bring their plus ones. Harley thought it was a terrible idea to drag Felix to a party but I want the old happy cuddly Felix back, and if this is a way of doing that, it's worth a try.

It's now the morning of Saturday and the party starts tonight. I rise from my bed and head outside my room to find Cole arguing to someone on the phone, it must be someone I know as he is whispering and Cole is never this quiet on the phone.

"Cole?" I call out and he is quick to turn his phone off and face me with a fake smile. "Who were you on the phone to?"

"F-Felix. He said he's not coming to the party."

My face grows sad, "Why not? It will be good for him." I encourage but Cole shakes his head in denial.

"Fine, I'll tell you." Cole sighs and then continues, "Felix has a theory that Harley has been cheating on you."

As soon as the news hits me, I feel like crying. It wouldn't be true though, right? Harley wanted to be with me, he wouldn't throw it all away like that?

"That's a ridiculous theory, Harley wouldn't hurt me like that." I whimper as tears roll down my cheeks.

"Don't cry Audrey. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have told you this." Cole worries and tries to comfort me with a hug but it just makes me even more anxious.

"N-no I'm glad you told me, b-but why does Felix think this?" I stutter in between sobs.

"Felix went to pick something up he left over at Harley's but was quick to turn around when he saw Harley... with another girl." Cole's voice grew low and raspy as he finished his sentence.

"What do you mean 'with another girl'? When was this?" I enquire, getting frustrated.

"They were having sex Audrey!" Cole shouts. "I'm sorry but apparently this happened when you started working independently."

I can't even believe what I'm hearing. My heart wants to break into a million little pieces, I'm finding it hard to breathe. "You're telling me this happened two fucking months ago?" I question through my teeth, trying to hold back as much anger as I can.

"I only found out yesterday, I wanted to tell you straight away and so did Felix, but he thinks you won't believe him."

Without answering Cole, I grab his car keys and storm out of the house, completely ignoring his calls and yells from inside the house. I'm not sure who I need to drive to first, Harley wouldn't tell me the truth and Felix wouldn't even answer the door. In order to decide, I phone Chris.

"Audrey? This is a first, is everything okay?" His father-like voice speaks over the line.

"No, I need to see Felix, is he home?" I ask solemnly and fast.

I hear Chris clear his throat before answering, "yeah, he is, what's going on?"

"Don't tell him, but I'm coming over so keep the door unlocked."

"Audrey, tell me what's going on."

"No." I snap and end the call.

When I finally arrive at Felix and Chris' house, I don't knock; instead, I barge in. Chris is right next to the door, and Felix is in their living room. That's when my rage turns to sadness and I collapse into a foetal position.

"I'm sorry; I was about to tell you!" Felix rushes over to assist me in getting up from the floor.

"Could you please explain what's going on?" Chris yells, and Felix motions for both of us to take a seat on their living room sofa.

"I believe Harley is cheating on Audrey. I first noticed it two months ago, when Audrey began working independently, and then saw the same girl in Harley's car shortly after his shift ended." Felix elaborates.

I look up as him with glossy eyes, "It's been happening more than once?"

"Yes, I can help you confront him if you need the support." I break out into more tears, leaning onto Chris as he's still taking in the information.

"I-I'll talk to him tonight, I'll skip the party." I sobbed. Felix nods and walks off to his room while Chris walks me back to the car.

It's all starting to hit me that the man I thought I was starting to really love, doesn't feel that way anymore and has thrown it all away.
