"And if you get lost in the light it's okay, I can see in the dark" - Since We're Alone, Niall Horan

The rest of the weekend went by in a blur. With the help of her friends and a lot of distractions, Fiona managed to get through it all without any major hiccups. She even felt brave enough to watch qualifying and the race from Charles' garage.

If you could call it watching, that is. A lot of time was spend with her covering her eyes with her hands. The team radio she could listen in on through the headphones she was wearing were enough for her nerves.

Mostly listening in on the action, rather than looking up and watching it, was definitely the better option for her, since it meant she could also listen to Charles voice.
Hearing him talk, indicating he was alright. It was the most reassuring thing ever. More than the comfort of her best friend holding her hand for the entire race.

Much to her delight it wasn't the most spectacular race. Which for her was a good thing, she wasn't sure how she'd have held up if it were going the other way.
Unfortunately for Charles, he only finished 16th, due to a poor tyre strategy.
Pierre on the other hand had a decent race. Finishing up in 7th was a good result for him and his team.

Since Fiona, Elle and Charles were set to stay for another night in France, driving back to Monaco the next morning they agreed to go out for dinner with Pierre. He was also staying until the next day, when he'd be traveling back to his hometown to enjoy at least a few off days with his family.

Isa and Carlos would also be joying them, which Fiona was really happy about. After spending more time with the spanish girl over the weekend, they still got along great.
Charles properly introduced her to his teammate Carlos as well over the weekend and Fiona quickly learned that the Spaniard was a really fun guy to be around.

Nothing against spending a nice evening with them, she thought. And who knows, as they'd probably see each other a lot at upcoming races, there might even be potential for new friendships.

They all agreed to meet up at the hotel lobby at 8pm.
Since Fiona hat some spare minutes to waste, while she waited for Elle to finish getting ready, she decided to post some photos of the weekend on her instagram.

Right now, Fiona was wearing ripped blue jeans, a white bodysuit and a long black blazer on top. Combined with some gold jewelry, a black and gold belt and white sneakers, she looked decent for an evening out, but not to over the top, since it would be quite casual.

She snapped a quick photo of herself standing in front of the hotel room mirror and decided it was good enough to upload with some others she had in mind.

Opening her instagram Fionas eyes almost fell out of her head as she saw home many notifications she had.

Oh boy, this can't be good.'

It didn't need many investigative skills to see that the reason was Pierre. He'd tagged her in his story.

That alone wouldn't be the problem. It wouldn't be a big deal, since it was nothing he hadn't done in the past.
No, it was what he tagged her on, that made a big deal out of it.

He had reposted a photo taken by none other than Kym Illman himself. Kym had caught their moment in front of the Red Bull facilities on friday and perfectly captured Pierre holding her up in his arms. Both of them wearing their biggest grins.
Besides tagging her name, Pierre had also put some words onto the reposted picture.

So proud of this one for what she did this weekend."

She groaned as she clicked on the photo and was forwarded to Kyms original post.
While Pierres message was really sweet, she only hoped he had talked to his girlfriend first before he did something like that.
It sure as hell would indicate to some fans, that they were dating or even worse betraying Katerina.
