'Where have you been all week?' Ashlyn asked, as she stormed into the Reservoir apartment to find Lotte sitting on the floor, eating her lunch. She looked up, a little scared at the sudden uninvited intruder.
'Sure, Ashlyn, come in. Thanks for knocking. NICK, IF YOU'RE LURKING OUT IN THAT CORRIDOR TOO-'
'Relax. He's not here. I don't know where he is' Ashlyn said, interrupting her as Lotte looked up at her in annoyance.
'You still could have knocked' she said quietly, as she continued eating her salad she'd picked up from a shop at the Melbourne Airport and then forgotten to eat.
'Where on earth were you and Josh? He injured his ankle and next thing you're both awol' Ashlyn said, as Lotte shrugged.
'He's probably still on the Gold Coast. I came back without him' she said, voice almost inaudible. It's then Ashlyn realised something wasn't quite right.
