A/N - once again, no offence or negativity is inflicted onto the De Koning family, particularly Sam.

...

'Have a look at you three, sitting there like a trio of triplets'

Jordan Boyd obnoxiously laughed, taking a picture of the three incredibly tired faces of Lotte Sullivan, Tom De Koning - and special guest, Tom's younger brother, Sam De Koning.

Danijela Krivac - never too far away from
Tom, suddenly bolted over with her coffee. 'I WANT TO JOIN IN! I'LL BE THE FOURTHLET!' She exclaimed, way too excited and energetic, jumping on the other end and putting her arm around Sam, who just grimaced and froze up.

'Technically you'd be our quadruplet, not a fourthlet' Tom said, gently correcting her. She still smiled and flipped her long dark hair over her shoulder, tightly gripping the poor man's shoulder. She pushed his hair back, so her face was clearly visible.

'It was funny until you showed up, Danijela' Jack Silvagni commented, from the other side of the room.

'This is a terrible angle - I think I can make it better. Hang on. Sam, shove over' Danijela grunted, forcing the brothers apart and sitting on Tom's lap again, arms around him.

'I think I'm in hell' Lotte uttered, sitting back and feeling quite ill at ease.

'Tell me about it' Sam said, in agreement. He couldn't even force a smile for the camera, and neither could Lotte. Tom, however - did, for the sake of Danijela's happiness. And because he didn't want her grabbing at his face, literally forcing him to smile.

'I can see it now - Sam on our team, oh won't we all get along so well! Maybe I should go blonde again, and then I'll fit in even better!' Danijela exclaimed, jumping to her feet. 'Show me the photos!' She ordered, running over to Jordan and taking the phone.

'One word. Why?' Sam asked his older brother, who shrugged.

'Who knows why she does anything she does. Just ignore her and get on with your day' Tom replied, standing up and making a quick exit. Lotte sighed, standing up too.

'Ooh, I really like this one. Edit Sam to make him happy, you can't post these. Charlotte's looking grumpy too. Ugh, is nobody happy with their million dollar contracts around here? Just crop the idiots out. Look at Tom and I, we're so happy together' Danijela carried on, looking so closely at the photos, almost completely obsessed.

'Can I have my phone back now?' Jordan asked. Danijela shook her head.

'Just wait - I have to send them to myself first, they're such great photos. That Botox I had done, here? Looks so good in photos. I'm so hot' she ranted, in love with herself.

'No, that's it. I really am going to be sick' Sam whined, clutching at his chest - he and Lotte suddenly making their great escape.

'Yes, well - unfortunately if you come to Carlton, that's what you'll be putting up with. Every single day' Lotte said, widening her eyes. Sam slightly shivered.

It had been a few weeks since they'd seen each other - since Sam had gone to her house and ended up falling asleep on the couch. He'd eventually made it to Emily's, very late - however.

The familiar sound of the doorbell, as he got down on one knee - oh no, that's his bad knee. Shit. Why didn't he go on the other knee? Now he was gonna be stuck like this for a while and -

'Sam?' Emily asked, opening the door - long out of her dinner dress and instead, in her dressing gown. She looked down at him, shocked.

'I miss you' he said, a small black box in his hands, still closed. She couldn't quite believe what she was looking at.
