'LOTTE!' Ashlyn Addison yelled at top volume, as she bolted through the Melbourne Airport, dropping her bag on the floor as she pounced on her best friend, Lotte unexpectedly screaming in fright.'What are you doing?' She asked, eyes wide and terrified as Tyler suddenly pulled her away. 'Remember what the doctor said?' He asked, cautiously reminding her.
'Tyler, it's fine' she said, throwing him a glare as he rolled his eyes and stepped back. 'Ashlyn, what are you doing, coming here and greeting me with a battle hero's welcome? I'm just seeing Josh off before he goes to Sydney for two weeks' she explained, as Ashlyn looked at her in confusion.
'You two have been missing. For over 48 hours. The club contacted the police. Tyler, your brother is beside himself with worry, and Lotte - Josh is losing his mind, and here you two are in the middle of the airport lounge like nothing's happened?' She asked, as she took in their appearances. They looked fine, unharmed. Except for Lotte, who looked somewhat stressed.
'Missing? Lotte was in hospital. She suddenly collapsed at home and I had to call an ambulance' Tyler explained, as Ashlyn looked on disbelievingly. 'And why didn't either of you contact anybody? You just completely disappeared, and Lotte, your car was left unlocked' Ashlyn explained, as Lotte nervously swallowed.
'I must've done that accidentally, when I got home from visiting Jack in the hospital' she said. Ashlyn sighed. So much had happened since then, it was as if Jack had never been in the hospital.
'Fine, which hospital were you at? The Austin?' She asked, as Lotte shook her head. 'Epworth' she said, as Ashlyn folded her arms.
'Why would you be at the Epworth? You don't have private health insurance' Ashlyn said accusingly, as Tyler cleared his throat and stepped up. 'I uh...I helped her with that' he said nervously.
'Don't piss me off any further this morning, Brown. I've had the night from hell and we've been looking everywhere for you two' Ashlyn said tiredly, as Tyler awkwardly nodded and stepped back. 'Sorry'
'What was the diagnosis? Why did you collapse?' Ashlyn asked doubtfully, wondering if it had even happened.
'I don't know, nothing too serious, that's why I'm here now waiting for Josh. He is definitely going to Sydney, right?' Lotte asked nervously, as Ashlyn sighed.
'Yeah, they wouldn't let him get out of it. And with Ivy out of the Children's now...he doesn't have a good enough excuse' she explained.
'I wish we could go with them' Lotte added, as Ashlyn nodded. 'I'd hate that' she said, disagreeing.
'Is Cal going?' Tyler asked, as Ashlyn shook her head. 'No. They called him in for a meeting around the same time he reported you missing, and nobody has seen him since. I mean, we know he's okay and all, he's at home with John, but he won't talk to us' Ashlyn explained, as Tyler stood up.
'I'm going to go see if he's okay and let him know I'm still alive. It sounds like everyone's just overrated to everything, I better go and clear it all up' Tyler said, as he left. 'Bye Ty' Lotte shyly mumbled, going a little red in the face as she looked down.
'I don't buy the hospital story' Ashlyn said, folding her arms.
'I know you don't' Lotte said, sighing.
'So really, where were you? And I was in the hospital myself, so don't tell insensitive stories' Ashlyn said firmly, as Lotte rolled her eyes.
'We went out for dinner somewhere and the elevator broke down. We were stuck inside and couldn't get out, no matter how many times Tyler yelled at the security camera, emergency phone button, and doors. We were in there for a whole two nights, and our phones had died so we couldn't call anybody for help. That's literally all, there's no great big story' Lotte explained, as Ashlyn glared at her.
