'Patrick, what happened to Jack Ginnivan?'

Patrick Lipinski nervously swallowed from where he sat at the main police department's detective room. Or interrogation room. Whichever philosophical view the witness at the time had.

'I was told by several sources that the cousin - or maybe sister? - of our captain, did it. Sorry. Killed him I guess. Stabbed him' he explained.

'Your captain, I'm assuming Darcy Moore, the captain of the Collingwood Football team?'

'Yes, that's him' Patrick stuttered. Please don't get Darcy into trouble.

'What was the offender's name?'

'Eleanor Moore, I think. I don't know, haven't had much to do with her' Jordan De Goey mentioned, shrugging, not nervous at all.

'You were seen arriving at the club late just moments after the death, and you were reported to be assisting the family of Josh Daicos and paramedics saving his life. Does the incident regarding Joshua Daicos correlate with the death of Jack Ginnivan in any way?'

'Are you stupid?' Jordan asked, expressionless.

'Mr De Goey, answer the question'

'I don't really feel like it' Jordan challenged. The eldest detective sighed.

'This Eleanor Moore, or Ella Whitlock-Moore, very conflicting names as you can see - what was she doing at your workplace?'

'She's Darcy Moore's cousin - or, or sister or something. She's always there from time to time' Isaac Quaynor replied.

'And you were a witness - and reported by several others to have made an attempt in saving the life of the deceased. Could you please summarise in detail what happened, Mr Quaynor?'

'I saw the incident, she just walked up from the side of the gate, ducked under it and started yelling at Nick, accusing him of this and that. Jack, Craig and Scott tried to break it up, she hit the coach, he and Pendles stumbled back but Jack kept trying to intervene. She punched him, and then got him in the chest or side with a knife. She ran off, going inside, and I haven't seen her since. Mason and I immediately started CPR. Nobody else could move, they were just shocked. I guess we weren't very prepared, we didn't know what we were doing' Isaac Quaynor recounted, rapidly tapping his fingers against the table.

'You weren't at the club. Could you please explain where you were at the time of the incident?'

'My girlfriend and I were struck down with the flu, work wouldn't have even let me in through the doors. I can't believe it. I missed the last day to see my brother Jack, or I missed the day I could have saved his life. I'm such an idiot' Brayden Maynard said, staring straight down at the bare table. The police officer sat back, smiling.

'And once again acknowledging that you were absent on that dreadful day, would you have any inklings about where all trained club medical professionals and first aid officers were? Security?'

'I have no idea. I've never been in there and not seen them. They should all be sued' Brayden said, sniffling.

'What were you doing at the time of the death?'

'I was doing the usual warm up, training drills with the group of forwards, not far from where she and Daics were fighting. I didn't see it, I was trying my best to ignore the fight. I didn't want to be dragged into it, but I never thought anyone would be physically harmed' Jamie Elliott said, a guilty look on his face.

'Your teammate Cooper Murley, as well as a Melbourne Football Club witness Jack Viney, both allege that you were involved in the fight and were heard yelling out to the offender, 'GO FUCK SOMEBODY ELSE FOR MONEY, SLUT!' which both witnesses then stated that you had further provoked Ms Whitlock-Moore into a physical rage with Nick Daicos. Are the statements regarding you, provided by both Mr Murley and Mr Viney true?'
