A week later,
Steve was walking by Maxie's room her door was cracked when he heard.
"Maxie you have to tell my brother..he has a right to know that he got you pregnant." Jenni said
"Why? He made it clear that what happened in Hawaii stays there. He doesn't care about my feelings. He basically told me that I am to young to know what love is." She said
"Maxie, he needs to know." Jenni said
"Jenni I am not telling him, I may just get an abortion. He doesn't care about me." She said
"Fine Maxie since you want to be stubborn." Jenni said
Steve heard the whole conversation, and balled up his fist. He now knew what was eating at his sister and why she wanted to leave. He told Natasha later that night when they were hanging out.
Two days later, Sarah dropped off Jenni and Maxie at the batting cages. They had only been at the place forty five minutes. When Jenni looked at Maxie she saw blood dripping down her leg as she dropped the bat and doubled over in pain.
"Maxie? We need to get you to the ER." Jenni said
"Mmm call Steve." She mustered out.
Steve rushed over, and quickly rushed to the ER. Maxie learned that she lost a set of identical twins. Steve and Jenni both promised to not tell Bucky, when they got back home.
Bucky stopped Steve, "Hey man we still on for the double date?" He said
"No we aren't. Nat said she started her monthly and isn't feeling like going out tonight." Steve said
"Oh, okay. Well we will set up another double." Bucky said as he left.
Steve went back out to get Maxie her favorite candy, and some pizza. He hung out with her most of the night.
