Six months later,
On June 8th, everyone was gathered at a mountain top venue for Bucky and Maxie's wedding day. They chose this date cause its the date in which their first time in Hawaii happened. Jenni was her maid of honor and Steve was the best man.
Sage and her cousins were the flower girls and ring bearers. Joe walked her down the aisle while Bucky cried seeing her coming towards him. All he saw in his head was memories like a film strip from when he was 3 and she was born and Sarah had brought her over till now.
Joe kissed her cheek as he gave her away.
"James Buchanan, you have had my heart since I was 12 years old. I have loved you that long I have never felt the way you make me feel. I am so glad that we are here today, and that I get to love you, make babies and memories that will last a lifetime. You are my rock, my constant and my love. I am looking forward to our next chapter. I love you." She said
"My Maxie, My MJ, we have always had this crazy connection. This way of being close, to be each other's calm. I broke that and it caused us to lose ourselves, and our ways. But I know as I stand here before you that its always been you that is my soulmate. The woman that I am meant to spend forever with. Our future begins now my girl and I am ready for it. I love you." He said
They exchanged rings, and kissed.
Their first dance song was to "Calling You." By Blue October, her father/daughter dance with Joe was to "Hurry Home." By Jason Michael Carroll.
