Three months later,
"Prosecution calls Maxine Rogers." Prosecutor Edward Humphries said
Mason saw Maxie come in, and he balled up his fists so tight his knuckles were white. She was sworn in and took her seat.
"Ms Rogers can you tell the court who you are and your relationship with the defendent." Edward said
"Yes, I am Maxine Rogers and I was his girlfriend and baby mama #3." She said
Mason knew then how they got her to flip. "When and how did you meet Mr Bennett?" Edward said
"I met him 3 years ago at a party. He is the big brother of a former friend." She said
"You told investigators that after being together 2 months that you were already saying i love you and having sex. But you were only 15 still correct?" Edward asked
"Yes sir. He became super attached to me never wanted me to leave his side as parties." She said
"What did he say was his reasoning to go back to Vegas Ms Rogers?" Edward said
"He said that Billings was getting boring again it was time for a road trip back to Vegas." She said
"But you know now that was a lie. I would to present exhibit A and exhibit B in evidence, jury this two warrants that had been put out around the same time he decided to up and leave Montana. He was behind on child support for two other women. Every single one of his so called friends had no idea that he was lying not even the girl he claimed to "love" knew. " Edward said as he showed the paperwork to the jury.
"Ms Rogers why did your phone ping in Arizonia?" Edward said
"We went there to see the Grand Canyon and pick up his dad's girlfriend. Mr Bennett told me that I could post my photos there." She said
"He told you how to stay off the grid didn't he?" Edward said
"Yes sir." She said
"No further questions." Edward said
Defense had no questions for her, so Maxie was able to step down. The prosecution called in Tyson last thats when Mason punched the table. The defense tried to flip him on the stand but it didn't work.
The jury deliberated for 12 hours, and came back with a guilty verdict of all his charges.
