Nine months later,
"Hey dad can I borrow the car?" Bucky said as he came downstairs.
"Yeah the keys are in the kitchen." James said
"Thanks I'm gonna go see Brie for a bit." He said
"Drive safe." James said as Bucky came back through the living room.
"And be home by 1130." Sarah said as she had her head laying in James' lap as they watched tv.
"Got it." He said as he walked out the front door.
Bucky pulled into Briella's driveway, her dad Martin answered the door "James?"
"Hey.." he said
"She's upstairs. I didn't expect to see you Brie said your car is messed up." Martin said
"Yeah its in the shop, I borrowed dad's car." He said as he went upstairs
He opened Brie's bedroom door, "Brie..I borrowed..dad's. Who is this?" He said as he saw her on top of a guy.
"Buck..I..I didn't expect to see you tonight. This is Alec my ex um.." she said
"Is this why you chose to not go with me to Hawaii?" He said
She looked down. "You know what we are done..I am so glad that dad let me borrow his car so I know the truth!" Bucky said and left.
When he arrived back home earlier than they expected, James followed him upstairs.
"Son? Everything okay?" James said
"No, Brie was cheating on me with her ex." He said
James hugged him, "It will be alright son, there is other fish in the sea." James said
"I know dad." He said as he hugged him.
"Get some rest we have an early flight." James said
The next morning everyone was up at 4AM to make their 6AM flight to Hawaii from Montana. Once they landed in Hawaii, they got settled into their beach house. They were all ready for vacation to begin.
