Three weeks later,
Maxie's new friend Shelby come up to her along with her other new friends.
"Here this is for you love." Shelby said
Maxie opened up the envelope to read the invite to their Halloween party.
"You should totally come girl. It will be a blast and you could use one of our good times." Kandi said
"I would love to come as long as its not boring. Im kinda sick of spin the bottle." She said
"Not a thing about our parties is boring." Amanda said
"Great." She said
That weekend, Marisol and her boyfriend Dylan said they would pick her up. She got ready in her room she chose to dress up as a sexy nurse.
She came downstairs when Marisol texted that they were getting close.
"Where in the hell are you going dressed like that?" Bucky said as he came out of the kitchen.
"None of your business." She said
Jenni came downstairs, "Did you change your mind?"
"If she did I am not taking her any way dressed like a hooker." Bucky said
"No I am not going to some boring party, I was invited to another party." She said
"Then you need to go change cause you look like a hooker Maxine." He said
They all heard a car horn honking, "Thats my ride.' She said
"Maxine Joanna no..not dressed like that. Go upstairs and change." He said as she walked towards the door.
"Leave me alone you aren't the boss of me." She said as she walked out.
When she got in Dylan's car, Bucky yelled "Maxine Joanna Rogers! Get back in this house and change."
Dylan drove off, and Marisol handed her a joint. Maxie had already been smoking weed with her new girlfriends. When she got to the party house, Marisol hooked her up with a drink and another joint.
Halfway through the night the crew began to dabble with other drugs, and pain pills. Maxie joimed in on the fun. Payton showed her how to snort crushed pills and cocaine. By the end of the night she found herself hooking up with her friend Connor before passing out on a couch.
When she came home the next morning, Bucky met her in her bedroom.
"Have fun?" He said
"Yeah I did. Not that its any of your business." She said
"Look you can be mad at me all you want Maxine but don't you dare abandon my sister. She has been through enough with the divorce and Tyson gone. In case you forgot we had to be put in therapy. Jenni is hurt and she feels like you are leaving her in the dust cause you got to skip 5th grade." He said
"Im really tired, and I really don't want to talk to you." She said as she went into her bathroom.
He heard her shower running so he walked out.
