8 months later,
James, and his crew (the crew's parents) all were at Fort Riley Kansas for the boys boot camp graduation ceremony.
James couldn't stop beaming as he watched Bucky walk across the stage and get his ranks, and pins. Bucky was the third son he got to watch do this.
"You miss Tyson." Sarah said
"I do. I have always missed him. Right now with all this going on and stirring all this back up reminds me of my divorce with Winnie. How she blamed me for not being strict enough." James said
Sarah squeezed his hand, "We will find him and Maxie one day we have to stay positive James." She said
He gently kissed her lips, "love you " he whispered
"Love you." She whispered
After the ceremony, all the parents got pictures of the boys and their wives. When the long day was over the parents got some shut eye before heading back to Montana. Two days later, Jame was reading the paper and sipping his morning coffee when Jenni came running into the kitchen.
"Dad! Sarah!" She exclaimed
Sarah and James both jumped, "Geez Jenni honey don't scare us like that." James said
"Really honey where is the fire." Sarah said as she handed James his breakfast.
"This is the fire look. Maxie has posted to her instagram, tik tok and snapchat." Jenni said
James and Sarah looked through her photos on instagram. But it wasn't until they watched her two tik tok videos that had them shocked. The first video was a slide show of photos of her and Mason to "Him and I" by Halsey. The next video was another slide show of photos from their road trip to the song "Fire" by Barns Courtney.
"Oh my god!" James said
"That is Tyson right dad?" Jenni said
"That is Tyson and Mason." James said
"Who is Mason?" Sarah said
"Mason Bennett was Tyson's best friend and the person he disappeared with." James said as he texted Parker and Preston.
"We need to alert everyone." James said as he ate breakfast.
