1 month later,
Bucky was holding her hand, and resting his forehead against their hands. He quickly looked up when he felt her fingers move.
"Maxie?" He whispered
He watched as her eyes began to flutter open, everyone else began to stand up as she moved. Sarah removed the tubes.
"Welcome back baby girl." Sarah said
"I'll get Troy and Amberlyn." James said
"I'll get you some water." Sarah said
She looked over to see who had her hand, "I should of gotten in the truck.." she said
He let out a laugh, "You and Tyson both." He said
"Where is Tyson?"she said
"Doing physical therapy." He said
She looked at her bracelets, "My new one? Why did you make me?" She said
He showed her his new one, "But Buck. " she said
"Please let me take care of you and Sage Maxie." He said
"Where is she? How long have I been out?" She said
"A month and she is with your aunt." He said
As she was about to answer him everyone came back into the room, she learned about her injuries. Once it was quiet again, Sarah went to call Joe.
"So?" He said
"I guess so." She said
He kissed her forehead, and whispered "Thank you cause I really wanted my job back." He said as held her cheek.
