Five months later,
Two weeks after Bucky's 20th birthday the boys were being deployed, James flew to Hawaii with his kids and Winnie to say goodbye. The reason being Steve's platoon was being shipped off on the same day so Sarah was in Texas with Joe and their kids.
"Dad how am I suppose to leave, with all this going on.." he said
James held his face, "Look at me son, you focus dont worry about what is going on. Me and Joe have it handled." James said
"But dad what if I.." he said but James cut him off.
"Son stop. Be positive now I love you and I will see you in 18 months." James said as he hugged him.
Bucky and Sam walked together to join their platoon. Meanwhile in Texas Steve looked at his parents.
"If I don't make it back tell Maxie that I love her and that I punched Bucky for her." He said
"Steven we don't talk like that." Sarah said
"Your mother never liked it when I did it." Joe said as he hugged Steve.
"Come on Rogers we gotta go." Clint said
Clint and Steve walked off together to their platoon.
