Two months later,
Bucky was sitting in the living room with Makayla and Jenni as well as his two older brothers. They were spending New Years Eve with James and Sarah. Steve was at Natasha's house to ring in the new year there.
Maxie came down the stairs dressed up for the party she was invited to.
"Excuse you where are you going?" Bucky said
She just ignored him and walked out. She got in Kandi's car with the girls of the group.
"Where are the boys?" She said as she lit up a cigarette Shelby gave her.
"Setting up, some of the older ones are coming in." Amanda said
"Cool." She said
They arrived at the party house by the lake, and walked in. They all immediately began the music, drinks and drugs. At some point in the night as she was doing a line with Payton and Willow someone wrapped arms around her from behind.
"Maxine what the hell are you doing?"
She looked to see Tyson. "Tyson?" She whispered as she wiped her nose.
"Why are you here?" He said as they went outside.
"Ive been hanging out with Shelby and her crew.." she said
"How they are all a grade higher than you." He said as he lit her cigarette for her.
"I skipped 5th grade, you missed alot. Im your stepsister now your dad married my mom. Your brother broke my heart after he took my v-card." She said
"Wow..well just so you know don't go home telling anyone you saw me." He said
"I don't really talk to anyone." She said as they went back inside.
They continued to party together, dance together. And by the end of the night Tyson and Maxie ended up in bed together all night long. By the next morning he left her note.
"Remember you didn't see me, but you were amazing -TJ."
She threw the note in the fireplace that had a fire going as they all nursed hang overs with coffee and pain pills before heading home. Bucky had slept on the couch waiting for her, just like he use to wait for his older brother Tyson when he started to hang out and party with his new friends.
She came in holding her heels, he jumped awake. "Where the hell have you been all night?"
She just ignored him, and he followed her. "And who did you sleep with? You have bite marks." He said
When they got into her room, "The last time I checked my life is none of your concern." She said as she went to her bathroom to change.
When she came back out she turned off the lights, "goodnight James." She said as she laid down.
