The next afternoon, everyone was gathered at the Barnes household. They all had been calling anyone that would know where she is.
Preston hung up the phone, "My contact at the FBI office said that the last ping of her phone was in Utah. Other than that he has no other leads. We just need to put out a missing person report."
Jenni had held in her anger long enough, "This is all your fault Bucky!." She blurted out
"Me? What the hell did I do?" Bucky said .
"Don't act so dumb! We both know what happened in Hawaii!" Steve said as he balled up his fist.
"Hawaii?" James said
Steve walked towards Bucky, "You slept with her, knocked her up and proceeded to shove Makayla down her throat." He snapped
Steve hauled off and punched him and the boys began to fight. Joe and James pulled them apart.
"What are you talking about I never got her pregnant!." Bucky yelled
"She refused to tell you cause she didn't think you would care! She lost the babies at 9 weeks! She loved you and you basically told her what she was feeling wasn't real! But it is real to her!." Jenni yelled
James slammed his fist on the table, "Enough! Now I understand everyone is angry! Now isn't the time to be pointing the fingers! None of this is going to help us find Maxie! Jenni go cool off right now! Sarah take Steve to cool off." James yelled
"Gladly cause I can't stand to look at my brother right now." Jenni said and walked out
Sarah took both Joe and Steve outside with Natasha, "We are no longer friends or brothers James." Steve said
Bucky looked down, Preston and Parker went to make phone calls.
"You knew this whole time was eating away at Maxie and you did nothing.." James said as he crossed his arms and leaned back against the kitchen table.
"I...I was hoping that she would eventually move on." He said as he looked up.
"And when it was clear that she wasn't.." James said
Bucky looked down, "Son, you should of came to me and Sarah told us what happened in Hawaii. But instead you chose to stay silent now I not only have a missing son now I also have a missing step daughter. You should of spoke up son." James said .
Preston came back in with Sarah and Joe, "My contact confirms the miscarriage it was a set of twins. Steve and Jenni was who brought her in last August.." Preston said as he read the email.
Bucky walked out of the room, and went up to his room. He shut the door then slid down it as he cried.
