Chapter 9

"Klaire!" Amy shouted seeing her friend at the entrance of the hall, she ran to her jumping on Klaire with a hug, Klaire returned it with an even tighter hug, "where have you been?" Amy asked, happy tears evident in her eyes,

"I just needed sometime off" Klaire replies, Amy only nods, both of them walking to their next class, "did you get me my notes?" Klaire asked remembering her missed out work,

"you know I got your back" Amy says handing her a 30 page folder, Klaire's eyes widen when she takes it, herself frozen, picturing the amount of work she has to do before tomorrows exam,

"that's only half, the other half I emailed you. I hope you got"

"I was gone for 5 fricking days" she screams, squeezing her notes into her bag,

"that's professor Revano for you" Amy jokes with the teacher walking into the lecture room shortly after.

Klaire had too much of work to catch up with, she had called Emily and told her she'll be staying at Amy's to complete it, but Emily had other words, Klaire purposely told Emily knowing the answer would be a 'No' from Ricardo, even though he had promised her, her freedom.

"thank you for this. I promise I'll be back by 6" Klaire kept the phone sighing in relief,

"girl since when did you have to report to a nanny" Amy asked slurping her milkshake she had got from the dinner next door,

"don't ask" Klaire said stuffing herself into her books once more.

Amy had always been one of the typical gossip girls in their college, and everyday Klaire would get caught in it, it had become a routine that Klaire almost missed it, during her time with Ricardo.

"hey so I got some pointers" Amy distracts her from her study session,

by 'pointer' she means gossip and Klaire knew where this is going, she purposely closes her book leaving a book mark and takes her shake leaning back on her chair ready to hear the latest news,

"so I heard Cara telling Maddie in the bathroom that Ricardo Delvour has a girlfriend, and she is rumored to be in our Campus! how exciting is that! a girl from our collage dating the world's most richest abstract man alive, and that isn't the best part. Maddie was so pissed she threw all her makeup and books onto the ground and smashed it"

"no way!" Klaire acts, she was in no mood in telling Amy who that person exactly is, it's reason behind why she is wanted herself to be masked when their seen in public places,

"yes way! if I ever get to meet this girl I swear I might bow down to her, Maddie had this whole plan set up to get Mr. Delvour's attention so she could be the future Mrs. Delvour. fucking slut!" Amy applauds joyfully,

Maddie was the collages richest popular girl alive, she is much more curvier and beautiful than Klaire, or that's what she _Klaire_ thinks.

"how would she even do that? everyone knows that Mr. Delvour is a hard man to meet, he practically carries his army wherever he goes" Klaire questioned, which made her think, how did she meet him?

because she was so stupid to volunteer for a friend.

"didn't you hear? he's like our University's money bank, which is also why he's going to be apart of this year's graduation speech"

Realization hit Klaire, that's how he knew about her! he runs the school, meaning he had access to the schools data base, it was a miracle she had a fake profile on her entire back ground.
