His Only

Chapter 11

Klaire spent the night before Graduation at Amy's. In the morning she had got her outfit delivered to Amy's house. Both girls squealed when they saw the delivery laid out on the couch. Ricardo found himself trusting her, and so did Klaire, both of them were getting used to each other's company without them even knowing. Klaire didn't know what she felt for Ricardo, the thought of her leaving him never sat right in her mind, or the reason why she felt butterflies in her stomach each time Ricardo held her in his possessive ways when they went out on dates, always getting excited for a conversation involving him, or how he loves to surprise her with his passionate kissing; she secretly loved it all.

She didn't want it to end, the love she felt radiating from him was so much warmth she felt herself falling for him— a love she didn't want to accept. But it's all new to her, she's inexperienced, and doesn't know how to love; her past made her that. After seeing her father turn on her, she promised never to fall for a soul again; she just couldn't be betrayed again— if only she knew who she'd be betraying when the time came.

"Awww... My girls are all grown up" Amy's mother Claudia says with adoration for both the girls who walk down in their splendid clothes. Claudia hugged Klaire first, she'd always treated her like a second daughter, and a mother's love was something Klaire wasn't used to, but she loved it. If Klaire had something personal to ask she'd always ask Claudia, and Claudia loved being a second mother, it made her heart feel full.

"This is really a surprise Klaire Dear. You surprised me more than Amy" she says holding Klaire's chin and placing a small kiss on her forehead, Claudia then hugged her daughter a bit longer, and she pulled back looking at Amy's dress.

"I can't say I'm not surprised either, Amy. I love you this way. Please don't change" her mother says, laughing along with Klaire. She holds Klaire's and Amy's chins together, getting another good look at them.

"I still remember the day Amy came to me after her first day at Campus, she wouldn't stop talking about you, and now because of both of you I have two kids to call my own" At her words Klaire and Amy hugged Claudia in union,

"Thanks, mom" they both said, Amy and Klaire have known each other for 4 years, and Claudia insisted that Klaire refers to her as a mom. Also because, being called by her name or 'Aunty' made her _Claudia_ feel old.

"Now come on, let's get going, Dad's waiting on us" Claudia says walking out the front door, Tyler was in his vehicle waiting on Amy, seeing her he got out of his vehicle, walked up to the crowd, introduced himself to her parents and then moved to pass them to hug her slowly sneaking in a kiss on her cheek which Klaire giggled watching. Amy gave Klaire a hug and went off with Tyler, Klaire got into the vehicle with Claudia and Amy's dad, and the pair took off going straight to the hall where the graduation was held.

Klaire and Claudia got out of the vehicle, shared a final hug and separated. Claudia went to where the parents were supposed to be and Klaire went to join her friends in the front row. With a final check from a hallway mirror, she fixed her outfit, touched up on her gloss and entered the enormous hall, making her way to the front of the audience she smiled passing by her batch mates. 

She was busy with a conversation with a friend when something caught her eye, everyone stood up suddenly and welcomed the teachers and the Guest of Honour. She didn't know how to react and only blankly stared at Ricardo who entered wearing his all-black suit with a silver Rolex. He shook hands with the board and teachers and followed behind them to the podium, his security lined up around the entire hall sweeping the area for protection risks. Timingly she walked in front of one of the security guards to get to her seat when the guard stopped mid-way nodding his head at her, "Miss Klaire" he acknowledged catching her off-guard and he got back to his post.
